You weren't any popular girl, not even close. You had books and family and a certain academic brain that helped you through finals.

A brown-haired girl named Tohru Honda had her eyes set on making you her new friend, not just so you could help her study but also because she wanted to help you in return.

Everytime she walked your way with Uotani and Hanajima, you would get away as soon as possible. All you wanted was to be left alone and just pass highschool.

One day as you were about to get away from them, a boy with short grey hair and purple eyes grabbed your wrist. Immediately you recognized the male as the student council president.

"Hey you're (Y/N) right?"

Soon your cheeks turned a deep crimson and you were a stuttering mess. Not to mention you had a huge crush on the guy.

"You're Y-Yuki Sohma! What're you doing talking to me?"

He only smiled and released your wrist.

"Well I don't mean to be rude or bother you but my friend over there wanted to see you."

"Your friend?"

"Well yeah, you see she just wanted to say hi and introduce herself because she thinks you're really nice."

Wait no that can't be, the one and only Yuki Sohma is blushing at you!?

"I don't mean to be rude, sorry, I'm just not really a people person."

"Oh that's fine, but you're always welcome to come chat with us."

He still held that dashing smile even as you declined his offer.

"I'll think about it but no guarantees."

Of course as soon as you said that the Prince Yuki Fan Club came running over, ready to cause utter mayhem.

Tohru and her friends were peeking around a corner, watching the girl and boy talking. It was their plan, well mostly Uo's to put them both together as the prince had fallen for the shy girl.

"C'mon Prince Charming work your magic!"

"His waves are very strange, like jumping mice."

"I think it's just because he's nervous, wouldn't you be?"

Then of course Kyo stepped in.

"Well Rat Boy should be nervous because I'm gonna beat him next time we fight!"

"Hold on carrots! I see something! I have visual of a kiss! I repeat I have visual of a kiss!"

"Whaaaat!?"

Just like Uotani said he kissed your cheek and began to walk away, making you blush even more.

Yuki had to hear Kyo yell at him about it while you became friends with Tohru Honda and her close friends. The day wasn't ideal but it made for some interesting memories.
