You were nobody special, at least to your family and people at school. Your terrible family disowned you after they found out about the curse of the zodiac. Your animal specifically was a wolf and as soon as your mother found out, she and your whole family treated you like garbage.

The people at school too, treated you the same even though they had no clue about the curse. Sure you could tolerate it but only to a certain extent. It was becoming too much to bear.

It was a morning like any other, you waking up out of bed and making breakfast while your family kept silent. You are and were about to leave until your sister made a snide comment.

"You even eat like a dog, seriously how you're even here is just bad luck. I bet a rabid mutt like you probably doesn't even appreciate what we've done for you!"

You just stayed quiet, blocking it out with all your heart. Your mom and dad stood carefully on the other side of the room, scared.

"Kate careful you might upset the mongrel!"

Kate got in your face, taking the glass of water and splashing it in your face.

"What's wrong doggy? Not thirsty anymore? You gonna be a good puppy and obey!?"

You stood up and brushed the wet hair out of your face, glaring harshly at the girl in front of you who was one of the bullies at school. Your eyes were welling up with tears as she spoke so rude.

"You going to cry bitch!? Gonna bark and call your pack?"

Your body began to tremble as sobs escaped you. How could she be so rude? How could anyone be this cruel to their family, their own daughter!?

A loud clap echoed throughout the room, your hand on her cheek. Her eyes widened and she pushed you down, on top of you she began to throw punches and slaps, not stopping until you could barely catch your breath.

"That'll teach you a lesson mutt!"

Blood dripped from your nose and you kept shaking, but you stood up.

Then poof, a dark blue cloud appeared and you had transformed into a fully-fledged grey wolf.

You began to run, through the neighborhood and to the forest where nobody could criticize who and what you were.

Your paw prints carved deep into the muddy path and your legs slowed as you saw a bunch of bushes by a tree.

You fell in the plants, breathing heavily and whining loudly as pain overtook you. You closed your eyes not caring what happened to you.

Timeskip

"What's that!? Is it a dog!?"

"I don't know Miss Honda.."

"I know exactly what and who it is, it's (Y/N) and she transformed into a wolf."

Slowly your eyes opened to meet with a orange-haired acquaintance of yours. Kyo Sohma your childhood friend and current crush. He knew about the curse along with the other Sohma's.

He knew how your family didn't really care about you but he didn't know the specifics.

You also locked eyes with a brown haired girl who was wearing the school uniform.

You began to growl at her before earning a gentle flick to the ear.

"Calm down, (Y/N). Tohru is a friend of ours, she won't hurt you."

You looked skeptically at the girl, who seemed to be a little frightened of you but who wouldn't be!? You were a goddamn wolf!

You went to stand up and walk but immediately fell into Kyo, who caught you.
