shimmer—
glamorous we live.
a reflection of us;
wavy and unstable.
despite the rusted iron
covered in highlighter
there's a diamond in the roof
just
kidding
it is
just
a minuscule piece of plastic
shaped like a gem.
and somehow it represents
the reality we live in
