Harry Potter POV

It was the typical lunch. You know, aside from Headmistress McGonagall's speech.

"We have been having troubles here at school" Well that's right, students are afraid every ten seconds and shivering and looking possessed. Oh and there's that evil new threat to our world Maven Calore and Queen Elara. A/N actually I have not finished War Storm, but it is an AU (duh) where he lives if he doesn't die in the books and becomes and evil threat to the world with a revived Queen Elara Ugh. Even thinking their names makes me want to gag.

McGonagall continued, "And we need help from very experienced people in dealing with the problem that is the House Merandus. They will not be sorted into houses, due to the fact that they will not be living here and only helping teach our Defense Against the Dark Arts class with Harry Potter A/N I wanted him to be teaching it for the Seventh year cause why not?  Okay. That was it. I was teaching the class fine by myself. Who the heck are these people that get a job just like that?

"I give you Mare Barrow, Tiberias Calore, Diana Farley, Evangeline Samos, Ptolemus Samos, Elane Haven, Julian Jacos, and Sara Skonos."

Just then the doors opened to reveal the weirdest scene ever.

A really short girl and a really tall guy were in an argument, and the other six people were struggling to keep them from killing each other. These are going to be our protectors?

Just then the girl wriggled out of her three captors grips, and they fell to the floor, unconscious, and the guy's captors jumped back, their arms covered in blisters, shrieking in agony, except for one of his, who miraculously healed, and started pressing her hands against the other's arms like what the f*ck? A/N for all u obsessive innocent tiddly-winks i didn't completely curse but I didn't pay much attention to her because I focused on the two people fighting.

The guy sent a giant fireball at her, but she quickly blocked it with a shield of pure lightning, and sent a giant web of electricity at him. Both of them kept fighting, using fire and electricity, and at one point the guy took the flame from the candles and turned it into a blue inferno that he wrapped himself in. There was a a bubble-like shield around the girl that was blocking the fiery assaults, but they were both weakening.

They locked eyes for a moment, and both the shields and weapons disappeared like that, and they collapsed onto the floor.

How did they do all that without wands? Then was when I realized everyone except the girl's hair was standing upright from static electricity.

WoOw.

Then the weird healer person from before rushed over to both of them and grabbed their wrists. The girl yelped and shot back onto her feet, eyes wild and searching. The healer girl's eyes widened, realizing what she had done, which was something unclear to me, and started apologizing with her eyes. The lightning girl looked scared and ready and sorry, but eventually sat down on the ground next to the healer still healing the fire guy and gave the healer her wrist.

She tensed at the contact, her breathing heavy, sparks rippling down her body. The guy was already healed by the girl, not having stopped the process, and immediately rushed to the girl and wrapped his arms around her. Instead of tensing, she melted into the embrace and duck her face into the crook between his neck and his shoulders.

The unoncious ones woke up and a severe blonde with a scar on her face started laughing, and soon everyone joined in.

The lightning girl looked at the fire guy and said "Have you learned your lesson?" He said,

"Yes, I will never call you short again," laughed, and said, "Have you learned yours?"

It was now her turn to laugh, and she said, "Yes.I will never call you 'Your Royal Highness Tiberias the Seventh' ever again. Probably. Not. No, I won't. It's too good."
