Percabeth - Gym (idk how to describe)

Annabeth POV

I was working out at the gym after another day of school full of the "popular girls" bullying me.

Said my hair was fake, my eyes were scary, and I was ugly, but only if they knew what I have done.

They wouldn't be laughing then.

I was running on the treadmill, one of my favorite exercises, on the highest speed it could go.

Gotta get away from monsters somehow. It felt like I was flying, the ground far beneath my feet, and I couldn't  feel a thing. I wasn't out of breathe, wasn't sore, and I wasn't tired.

Then I heard a voice.

Mean Girls (Kriss) POV

Me and my squad were going to the gym in our classic revealing sports bras and tight and short athletic shorts.

Then I saw her.

Annabeth, probably the smartest person in our school, and one of the prettiest girls. I am so jealous of her natural blonde hair with the princess curls and the effortless tan and the, now that she is wearing athletic shorts and a sports bra, amazing body.

She was in the max speed on the treadmill, looking not even that tired. God, I hated her.

But I couldn't let me jealousy show through, I had to put in my mean girl voice and attitude and show her who's boss.

I heard a voice behind me, my boyfriend, Aspen. I knew just how to get to Annabeth, with my boyfriend at my side.

We walked up to Annabeth and I said, "Well, well, well! If it isn't Annabeth the loser."

At that, she jumped, landing her feet on the sides of the treadmill and pausing the machine.

She turned around, her blonde hair pulled into a ponytail, loose strands perfectly framing her face, barely even breaking a sweat.

"Yeah?" She asked, not even fazed by the insult.

"Well, I was just here with my boyfriend Aspen,  the boy with, if you ask me, the prettiest green eyes ever, don't you think?"

"I don't know," she responded, rolling her eyes at me (rude,  I thought), "I've seen better."

I was mad now, and said, "Like who?"

"My boyfriend, Percy."

"Oh, you mean the nonexistent one? Where is he now?"

"Getting me a gatorade from the vending machine because I forgot my water bottle."

"We'll just wait here for him, then."

"Okay."

She turned back to the machine and was editing the settings so that she would be running on an impressively high incline at an impressively high speed, when a boy walked up to us.

He had the most beautiful sea green eyes ever, choppy raven black hair, and such a cute smile, he was probably even more handsome than Aspen, then I realized. He was carrying a gatorade.

"Hey Wise Girl!" he called, "Got you your gatorade. I didn't know what flavor to get you, so I got light blue."

Annabeth, the school nerd, the school smartie, the school loser, had the hottest guy like ever as a boyfriend?

Annabeth laughed.

"You're such a Seaweed Brain, but thanks!" and she took a long sip of the drink.

Percy looked at me quizzically. "Wise Girl, who's that? Your friend?"

She laughed again, shaking her head.

"No, that's Kriss and her boyfriend Aspen. She kind of reminds me of Drew, but like, times 1000."

"Oof." was all he replied. Who the heck was Drew?

Annabeth POV

I loved getting Kriss all riled up, but I wanted her gone.

"It looks like your 'squad' is lost without you, so why don't you leave us alone? Besides, I need to finish this workout for today."

And with that, I gave Percy a peck on the lips and went back to my machine.

Then I heard from behind me, "Ew! Get a room!"

I turned around, groaning. "What is it Leo?"

He, Piper, and Jason all smiled and Leo talked again, saying "I've missed you Water Boy and... Owl... Girl...? I can't think of a good nickname for you besides Wise Girl, but that's taken, I know Percy!"

I rolled my eyes at him.

I could see Kriss looking back and forth between Percy and Jason and Piper and me, obviously hating us.

I had to constrain myself from jumping with joy when she left.
