The second the clock strikes one pm Allison Gray's desk phone rings.

"Gotham City Sentinel, Allison Gray speaking," Allie answers.

"Ms. Gray, it's Madison from security. We have a Mr. Wayne down here claiming you agreed to lunch with him but he isn't on the schedule today," Madison reports in a monotone voice. Madison Maple is the no-nonsense head of security who usually holds post by the front desk where the no-nonsense yet cheerfully bubbly secretary, Margaery Maple resides.

"Oh! I'm sorry Madison! I am having lunch with Mr. Wayne, I forgot to put him in the system. I'm still getting used to being back," Allie explains and bites her lip shamefully. Bruce must be so annoyed at the hold-up.

"It's alright. Mr. Wayne will be right up," Madison says plainly. "Good day, Ms. Gray."

"You too, Madison." The guard hangs up and Allie glances to Alex. "I can never tell if she's angry."

"She's very monotone with everyone except Margaery. I appreciate the professionalism," Alex responds with a shrug. "Oh, and Natalie dropped the food you ordered in your office."

"I haven't been in my own office since forever. I almost forgot I had one," Allie remarks idly.

"It's a nice office."

"Your office is nice."

"I'll be in my office so if you want privacy use your office and your nice couch," Alex deadpans and Allie goes red.

"I'm gonna wait for him by the elevator," Allie squeaks and rolls away.

Bruce Wayne appears in the elevator holding a bouquet of roses and wearing a casual business suit. Seeing him there grinning for her, takes her breath away.

"Bruce, I'm sorry about the hold-up. I forgot to put you in the schedule," Allie rushes out and he shakes his head.

"Allie it is alright. All worth it to see you." Allie blushes and waves him off.

"You flirt."

"I'd say old romantic," he counters and hands the flowers to her. Allie cradles the gift in her lap and in seconds realizes it is a bundle of chocolate roses.

"Okay, I'm gonna need you to bend down to my level," Allie dictates as she makes a spontaneous decision. Bruce levels with her and she grabs onto his tie with her free hand, pulling him in close. "I motion we kiss now, does anyone second?" Allie purrs.

"I sure as fuck do," Alex snorts but it doesn't pull Allie and Bruce from eachother's eyes.

"Seconded," he breathes. Allie tugs Bruce in and presses their lips together in a long-anticipated and explosive kiss. After an eternal yet fleeting moment of bliss, they part and grin foolishly at each other.

"Fucking finally!"

"So let's do lunch," Allie utters. "In my office alone."

"Great idea," he agrees and grabs the handles on her chair to push her quickly to her corner office opposite Alex's. The second the door shuts behind him Bruce recaptures her lips and cradles her face in his hands. Allie responds in kind and uses her good hand to cup his cheek. Blissful moments pass until the pair pulls away to catch their breath. Bruce presses his forehead against hers and Allie giggles euphorically.

"I suppose we have to talk feelings now," Bruce remarks and Allie shrugs.

"I suppose we do," Allie agrees and flicks her eyes to the couch. "Let's sit." She moves to place herself on the couch with her vectors but Bruce holds his arms out and she pauses.
