Agatha

"So, how are you feeling? Any troubles with boys, your parents, friends?" The school councillor patronised me. I'd been sat in the chair for a good 20 minutes listening to him go on about his life, rather than him asking me anything to do with my issue. This was the first question he'd actually asked me. Luke hadn't turned up either, so I was alone. We agreed on meeting outside the building at 8, but he never showed- even when we had school.

"I'm doing okay, I guess. Boy troubles, yes but I'd rather not. My parents, only my dad. My friends, hard to say if I even have any," just as I'd finished speaking, Luke ran in and wouldn't stop apologising. He took a seat by my side and took my hand in his. "This isn't a professional therapy session, Luke, quit gripping onto my hand," he nodded and let go.

"At least your boyfriend actually showed up, my girlfriend never even showed up to our second date, Agatha, so I'd be grateful," I rolled my eyes. "I think that's all for today," he smiled and dismissed the two of us. I grabbed my stuff and walked out of the room, ignoring the fact that Luke was only a few steps behind me. He pulled at my arm.

"Look, I'm sorry, okay?" He apologised, clearly not meaning it. "I woke up late and your session just went out of my head," he stopped. "That's not what I meant, I mean, it is, but I-"

"Forget it, I'm too reliant on you, anyway, just do what you like."

"What's even happened?" He asked. "Like, we were fine yesterday."

"You're just inconsiderate, you barely have time for me, you never care for me and I'm done,"

"How can you say that? After all the things I've done for you, I've literally blocked my family out so I can help you, we're practically round each others house everyday- we're practically joined at the hip. So don't use that crap on me, okay, Aggy?" I nodded and looked to the floor. People had started to stare at us, whisper about us and smirk at each other about us. Luke pulled at my wrist and led me towards his locker. "So, tell me what's really up." I just stood there. Nothing was up, all it really was, was that I had less faith in him than I had done before. He'd just forgotten about me, as if I was nothing. As if I meant nothing to him. But I knew I meant much more to him than he could ever describe. "Aggy?"

"Nothing," I muttered. "I'm just having a bad day, that's all."

"Why are you having a bad day?" He seemed concerned and it annoyed me. I craved the attention and I was receiving it from him but somehow the way he was acting made me want to scream.

"Leave it, okay?" He nodded and swing his arm around my shoulder. He kissed the top of my head and proceeded to our lesson. "I'm sorry."

"Don't sweat it," he smiled. "I really like you."

"I really like you too."
