Healer Deku au

1st day at School

As soon as Izuku went home that day and told his mother, they broke into tears. The next day he told Bakugo who smirked and shouted, "Now I have to go to U.A. who else is gonna protect your scrawny ass!" He giggles and gives a 100 watt smile. Soon the boys trained and studied hard though Bakugo spread his fair share of insults now and again he never was as harsh as he was before. Izuku under the eye of Recovery girl began training discovering how to control his healing quirk better and gain a better physique than before.

Then it was time for the UA exams. Izuku and Bakugo took the exam, Izuku passing due to him already being smart and during the fighting part of the exam instead of fighting he supported his peers and healed anyone who got hurt. Though he wore a mask and hoodie saying he'd rather keep his identity a secret.

The day Izuku got his letter saying he was accepted into the hero course he showed his mom and broke into tears. Then he called Kacchan whom also got accepted though he yelled at Izuku saying he shouldn't have underestimated him and of course he'd make it. Both boys now as close as they were when they were kids had become heroes in training.

————Izuku POV———————

I pulled on my tie nervously as I walked towards Kacchan's house. I asked Kacchan to walk with me to school though he didn't send me a reply I might as well wait and see if he actually does want too. I had gotten up early anyways as I was so excited for my first day in class. I saw his house and I took out my phone. I got two text messages one from mom who wished me good luck on my first day of class. I giggle and send her a thumbs up. But Kacchan never texted me back, I sighed and slipped my phone into my back pocket. No use of crying over spilt milk I guess.

"Deku!" I looked up too see Kacchan walking out of his house with his usual scowl. "M-morning K-Kacchan!" I stuttered. I was still getting used to him being so nice. "Let's go before we're late idiot." Kacchan lead the way to school as I trailed behind him telling him as I told him about the All Might figurine I bought last week with my allowance. I'd been saving for it for 2 weeks. I did some part time jobs around the neighborhood, walking dogs and babysitting. Usually though if they asked me to do those things I'd do it for free which I told them I only needed money for the figurine.

I smiled as I thought of how I'd be with my childhood hero All Might though I'd have too heal him first. I should say I'm surprised he doesn't like sitting down when I try to heal his wounds and his bigger one but really slowly he's getting better.

By the time we go to the gates of UA Kacchan was shouting at me to be quiet. "Stupid Deku who cares?! Go to class, if we're late it's all your fault!" He scolded as he started to walk faster. I was scrambling to catch up to him when I heard then saw a kid crying. I saw that he had fallen and scraped his knee. I can't just leave him like that. I rushed to his side where his friends were standing next to him wiping the blood with his handkerchief. I sat next to the two boys, both had to be like 6. "Hey there, are you two okay?" I asked. They both nodded making me smile softly. At least they now what stranger danger is. "Well, I'm Izuku Midoryia. How do you know where my uniform is from." I asked.

The boys eyes lit in realization. "You go to UA!" I nodded. "Well I got accepted because I have a healing quirk. So do you mind if I saw were you got hurt?" I asked, I don't want to feel too forceful on him, He looked at his friend before looking back at me and nodding. I nodded back and gently picked up the handkerchief before placing my hand over his bloody knee. I imagined the skin cells growing faster and blood that usually clots the skin too just bleed to convert into energy to create more skin cells. In a few seconds his scrape was completely gone. The boys lit up with awe, as I took out my handkerchief rubbing off the dirt then placing an All Might band-aid on his knee. I couldn't help but smile back at them. "Thank you!" he shouted. I giggled and helped him up. The two boys ran waving goodbye. Izuku waved back as he then realized he had lost Kacchan with a sigh he began his journey again his nerves starting to wrack up.
