Healer Deku au

1st Battle

I looked around at everyone in their hero costumes. They looked so cool! I had pulled out my notebook and started to record everything. I was so excited. Kacchan strutted in his costume and I almost swooned. He looks amazing! "Izuku!" I looked to the side to see Uruaka in a cute pink costume with Ilda who was also in a really cool costume. He already looked like a professional. I looked down at mine. It wasn't much, but I didn't want a flashy costume, I wanted one that kept attention away. I really don't like attention. My mother made it for me, it was a black face mask(like a surgical one), a hoodie with something that kinda looked like All Might's haircut really looked like bunny ears, spandex undersuit, a utility belt with some supplies and my favorite red shoes.

"You guys look so cool!' I said. Uruaka cheered 'Thanks! You look so cute Deku!" I jumped back a bit and blushed like a tomato. I wasn't used to anyone, much less girls fawning over me. "I'm quite excited to see your quirk!" Ilda says earnestly. "Y-yeah! B-but look at your costume you look amazing!" I shouted. Ilda did this weird thing with his arms as he smiled in the complement. At least he's happy.

"Alright let's begin."

We were separated into groups I was partnered with Uruaka and we were against.. Bakugo and Ilda.

The universe really has a messed up sense of humor doesn't it? Not only do me and Uruaka have more support type quirks we are against Kacchan. I helped Uruaka through the building easy enough. Though I don't know how long we can dodge Ka-

The boom of an explosion came from behind us.

Dang I guess he found us. I turned to see him steaming behind me with a look of ambition and anger. He almost truly looked like a villain. I pushed Uruaka out of the way of an explosion. Kacchan is strong but I know his moves too well. I dodged jumping off the wall kneeing him in the face. Kaccchan was just as fast and grabbed the back of my hoodie exploding me back. "You can't beat me Deku!" he yelled. I growled but I know Kacchan.

"Uruana go!" I yelled. She hesitated before scurrying off to hopefully reach the bomb. Now I'll have to deal with Kacchan. I ran towards him and jumped over his shoulders crying, 'Come and get me you sweaty chimp!"

That was enough to get him riled up and chase after me. Which meant I needed to run faster. Led him away until I reached a dead end and I needed to face Kacchan. Which I received a blow from his explosion. I jumped off the walls avoiding every attack knowing he was in a confused state. He would fight for real because he's Kacchan. He wouldn't be a jerk like that. He's burned parts of my costume but I was okay. I grabbed out my bandages from my belt. Luckily for me Recovery Girl had me learn a few other tricks as well.

As if it was a ribbon I wrapped the bandage around Kacchan's leg and pulled him towards me so I could deliver kicks and punches on him. Kacchan quickly retaliated, blowing me as I hit the wall. I was starting to see stars. I knew Kacchan is going to come from the right, so I jumped to the left wall. Kacchan needs a second to rev up so I could deliver a quick kick to his head. Next thing I knew though was that Kacchan was blowing up the walls, and crumbling the building around us. Kacchan is no longer thinking straight due to repetition of head hits, i could see him getting a bit dizzy. He was getting angrier. I jumped around him delivering punches and kicks but Kacchan was faster and grabbed my ankle and flung me like a rag-doll. I used the momentum so I would flip over and do a handstand on his shoulders jumping above him .

I pushed my legs back propelling myself away from him. Once more he grabbed me but that's when I saw it. The grenade in his costume is gonna blow! It's gonna kill me! In a fit of fear I kicked his arm hard enough that instead of hitting me it hit the ceiling. I heard the building creak from everything we've broken but I didn't care. Kacchan let out a roar but, before we could continue, "STOP! THE HEROES HAVE WON!-" My ears were ringing and I felt woozy but I smiled as we won! Uruaka did it in the nick of time. Kacchan threw me at the wall as he was breathing heavily as if he was in a trance.

He was panting just like I was. I felt my vision starting to fade but, I need to heal Kacchan. I need to help him! Feeling like I was about to throw up I stumbled to Kacchan and placed my hand on his forehead. Kacchan has a few bruises and a partial concussion but otherwise okay. 'Stupid Deku what are you doing?!" He yelled as I felt a cold rush shooting up from my heart into my arm through my fingertips and leaving into Kacchan's body.

I used to have trouble just healing paper cuts with my free will now I can do concussions with ease. In a quick minute I healed Kacchan, just in the nick of time as my vision would no longer seem to help me move around and I felt a pair of strong arms wrap around my waist of my burnt up suit as I shut my eyes, Letting the darkness take over. I hope Urauaka is okay.

Third POV

Izuku passed out falling into Bakugo's arms as if he was a wilting flower. Bakugo's face twisted in a fit of rage. "Stupid Deku! If you're gonna pass out don't heal people! I won't let you win next time dumbass! Wake up so I can kill you!" He picked Izuku bridal style and started making his way at the building mumbling curses under his breath. He was worried and still shocked all the same. How could've he lost to Deku.

He looked down at the greenette in his arms who was sleeping peacefully in his arms bruised, cut while he was healed. The boy looked like an angel as he softly breathed. Bakugo gently placed Izuku on the stretcher and watched him being shipped off to the nurse's office. He'll deal with him when he wakes up...

1 hour later

Izuku slowly opened his eyes to see his arms bandaged up and the Recovery girl sitting next to him. "Hello darlin, you feelin better." Asked Recovery Girl. He rubbed his eyes and nodded, he overexerted himself but he should be fine. "You're friends were worried, but don't worry me like that! I can't have my helper being out of commission for too long. You know how bad it gets." She scolded maternally though she wasn't too harsh.

She kissed the top of Izuku's head before dismissing him. The woman had become like a grandmother too Izuku. Often spoiling him with compliments and sweets. Izuku would always help her with paperwork, healing, cleaning or just being someone she would talk to. As she had no grandchildren or husband, Izuku became like family to her. She had actually gone shopping with him once and had the grandest time.

"I think his name was Bakugo Kastuki, strong and a flashy quirk but I have to say your friend is quite scary." She said as Izuku stretched a bit. "Yeah! Kacchan is the greatest and he's so strong! He's helped me out in such a big way! When we fought he was so fast I'll have so much too write down in my journal! Oh wait, mom must be worried! Ack, I'll see you later Miss Recover Girl!" Izuku shouted as he raced out the door to his class.

There he was met with the faces of some of his classmates. Uruaka jumped up waving her hands in the air once more Izuku blushed and reeled back a bit. "Izuku you were amazing! You were like pow and bang and we won! Is your quirk one of agility or speed?"

"Yes! I'm quite impressed with your skill Midoryia! So you mind if we exchange numbers?" I jumped up again in surprise "N-numbers?" I asked about uncertainty. "YES! I would love to exchange numbers!" THe trio exchanged numbers as they started to leave the building, Izuku talking about how cool Ilda quirk is. By the entrance though he saw Bakugo, standing against the pole. Izuku waved goodbye to his friends as he ran to Bakugo. "Kaachan!" The greenette shouted, running to catch up to his friend.

Bakugo looked up in surprise as Izuku collided into a hug with him. "You were great! You looked so cool! Are you hurt though?" Bakugo stiffened in surprise. Izuku did not touch people often after being bullied so much nor did the blonde who was rough. But, as soon as he started Izuku ended it jumping back, a slight blush on both of their cheeks. "D-damn nerd! Don't be so rash and heal me when you're already tired! IDIOT! WHAT KIND OF HERO HEALS THE VILLAIN THEN PASSES OUT! SUCH A LAME ASS YOU ARE!" Bakugo roared. Izuku smiled as he followed after Bakugo giggling like a little kid.
