Ok so it was in a world where artificially created lifeforms were a common thing. People/companies would often make fantastic/magical creatures or outlandish ones. It was the new exotic pet trend.
The way it worked there was 1 original design/creature which companies would then make clones/copies of. I made 3 base designs/creatures and allowed a company to use them as long as I got a cut of the profits and kept the rights over them, and I kept a 4th one to work on further. I ended up treating him as like my kid, he'd cling to me whenever I went anywhere. The 4th one was all purple, was humanlike but with 4 spidery legs coming out his back, big enough that they'd wrap around him like wings. He also wore a purple hoodie. The other 3 I don't remember much about but I remember much about but I remember they were red, dark blue, and light blue. Tbh they looked kinda like the Sanders Sides.
Sometime a few months later, my mom and I went back with the 4th one to see how things were going with the first 3. I found out that they had made other altered copies from the 3 I made, and these copies were new originals, and since I had made the 3, all of these copy originals were technically mine as well. The things they altered were adding things like animal-like ears, tails, wings, etc.
I also met someone who looked like a humanization of Applejack from MLP and she had the tiniest little green puppy!!! It was a scruffy/fluffy little thing, it was smaller than my hand, it was so cute!!! It was running around, following her, and I got to play with it! She also had this other dog which was like a yellow and pink living Pound Puppy!
And that was about when I woke up. I actually woke up twice. There was also this other part where Mom and I were waiting in an office space until someone could speak with us and we found what we thought were candies so we each had one. They were round, a mint/jade color, and individually packaged like candy so you can see why we made the mistake. They were pure menthol. The pain was so realistic in the dream but when I woke up the first time the pain disappeared.
