It had been harder for Izel. She hadn't properly slept nor had she forgotten about what her mother had said. Saying you're fine and actually being fine are two different things. She wasn't fine. She had been telling everyone she was. From Hope to the family. Rebekah and the others had called to check up on her but she hadn't been able to tell them anything. She didn't want to put another problem on their shoulders. So she had decided to wait and let the problem be until she wasn't bothered by it anymore. Isn't that what she always does?

It was morning and she was woken up by MG to go to the headmaster's office. He didn't really wake her because she was already awake... Just like every other day. Anyways, she agreed and freshened up and walked towards the office.

When she reached and opened the door, she was met by everyone there. Caroline, MG, Hope, the twins, Penelope, Rafael and Alaric. Everyone was there.

"What happened now?" she asked. If everyone is gathered, that means something's wrong.

Alaric answered, "Me and Hope are going on a trip. Everyone here needed to be informed of that and instructed about what to do and how to behave while we're gone"

"Trip to where??" Izel asked confused.

Hope replied instead, "Landon's in trouble. When he was kicked out of this school because we couldn't prove he was supernatural, I sent him to Vincent in New Orleans to help find his mother, Seylah, and gave him a magic bracelet in case there was an emergency and he needed me. All this time it didn't glow. But today morning it did" she explained hurriedly in short to everyone as they too didn't know the reason for the sudden gathering.

"And you two are going alone? Can I join? I love roadtrips!" MG said a little too enthusiastically.

"They're not letting me come bro. And Landon's my brother. You're a far cry" Rafael replied.

"We cannot take a lot of people because we don't know where Landon is. The less people there are, the less suspicious we'll look. Hope is going because she has magic and I'm going because I'm the only legal adult that can drive" Alaric replied.

"But Caroline will be here in my absence and work as a temporary headmaster. So don't think you all will get away with your mischiefs" Alaric added pointing to Caroline who nodded.

"Fine. Can I go now dad? Me and Josie have an important witch meeting to get to. In which unfortunately, you are also required Park" Lizzie added, bored with the whole conversation. Josie nodded in affirmation. And a little apologetically about Lizzie's behavior.

"Anything to get out of this boring meeting" Penelope said bored herself and not caring about Lizzie's snark.

"Yes. You can go. So can you all" Alaric replied dismissing everyone.

"Have fun finding the hobbit!" Lizzie added before she, Josie and Penelope exited.

Alaric and Hope exited too after almost everyone was out, except Izel and Caroline.

Izel tried to get away as she sensed something was about to happen but she didn't succeed.

"Ahem. Izel. A second please?" Caroline called out.

Izel sighed and turned around, "Yeah?"

"What happened that day?" Caroline asked.

"I don't know what you're talking about....." Izel acted as if she didn't remember. Like that was going to get her out of this.
