A few weeks after the Akatsuki had earned a baby, Deidara held the girl carefully in his arms, rocking her as he laid her head on his shoulder. Everyone in the Akatsuki was exhausted. Sasori was at his desk pouring over notes and attempting to create a serum to help.

Sakura was crying real tears as Deidara tiredly and lazily bounced her, walking her around the room with a frown. "Danna. Is she going to be okay?" Deidara frowned.

Sakura had a major toothache, and was in so much pain. Almost all day and night she had cried for the past 24 hours. She passed out from exhaustion a couple times but she hadn't slept very well, and definitely not for long. Sakura sobbed in Deidara's arms and continued to wail.

"She's going to be okay. Konan gave me a tool that Babies enjoy, and I just have to infuse it with a pain reducing serum." Sasori tiredly said and he continued to work. The door opened abruptly.

"Hey!" Hidan groaned. "Can you shut that kid up. She's probably crying because she wants to learn jashinism!" Hidan snapped. He stomped over to Deidara and opened his arms.

Deidara turned away from him, protectively holding Sakura away. "She doesn't want to be your damn apprentice, yeah. She's a baby, she wants to make art, un." Deidara rocked her as she whined. She reached out for Hidan.

"See!" Hidan glowed as Deidara grudgingly passed her over to him. "Come to Uncle Hidan." Hidan cooed to Sakura and lifted her up above his head.

Sakura giggled slightly but whined again when her tooth started to ache. "What's wrong with Her?" Hidan asked.

"Toothache. Danna's working on it." Deidara laid down and tried his best to ignore how good the bed felt. "She's exhausted but can't sleep because it hurts. Konan gave us some new baby tools though, so we're hoping to get a step up, un." Deidara tiredly explained.

Sasori jumped up with a "Ha!"

Sakura looked up at him while in Hidan's arms. Sasori strolled over to her, and plopped a pink pacifier in her mouth. He had soaked and infused with a special healing jutsu.

Sakura sucked the pacifier eagerly as she cried softly, and slowly passed out in Hidan's arms. Hidan smirked and so did the rest of the Akatsuki as the base quieted down.

"Is that good, Sakura un?" Deidara tiredly cooed to her as he left the room. Sakura nodded as she closed her eyes. Sasori took her to lay her in her crib, Hidan also leaving the room after bidding her goodnight.

"You are such a handful doll." Sasori chuckled as he patted her slowly sniffling body to sleep. She was so exhausted. She fell asleep almost immediately. "You should have better dreams. Sleep well my love." Sasori tucked her in snugly as Sakura slept great fully.

......

The next day Sakura slept a good 12 hours.  Sasori was amazed. He and Deidara had been chilling in his room, talking about their next mission when Sakura had awaken. She moved around quietly, and both boys let her move around.

"Danna. I haven't slept this good for weeks." Deidara yawned heavily. He stretched, his back cracking comfortably. Sasori nodded.

"It must be that pacifier and medicine, Konan said to be careful." Sasori nodded.  "Says she can get attached quickly."

Deidara chuckled. "Listen I don't mind her getting attached to that thing if she sleeps like that." Deidara looked back as Sakura stood up. She was looking at them with a big smile. In her hand she held the pacifier.

"Paci!" Sakura held it up, proudly showing it off. Deidara walked over to free her from her crib, chuckling at her excitement. She plopped it in her mouth as Deidara carried her out the room with a nod of encouragement from Sasori.
