For the remaining two nights until Sakura's party, she stayed inside. Ino brought over a pink dress for the party, that Sakura loved but Naruto nearly denied. It reminded him of a cuter version of the older Sakura's pink dress. It was at a party just like this one that Sakura disappeared. It would be only a matter of time. Naruto planned to keep a very tight eye on little Sakura.
"Sakura." Ino warned her softly as she brushed Sakura's wet hair. She had just gotten out of her bath, and was getting dressed. Sakura was already in her formal pink dress. Ino had came to help Sakura get ready while Hinata and Naruto went to help welcome the ninjas from other villages.
"Yes Aunt Ino?" Sakura pouted. She kept moving while Ino was brushing her hair.
"Please stop moving." Ino grunted, running the brush threw her long pink locks. With her other hand, she held the large bow and pulled Sakura's hair up in a big neat bun.
"I don't want to go." Sakura pouted for what felt like the millionth time. Ino rolled her eyes and fixed Sakura's edges with a small gell finger.
"Well you need to. You need to meet all of your mother's old friends, along with the entire village." Ino lectured with a small grin. "Even your grandmother can't wait to meet you."
"I have a grandma." Sakura gasped. Ino nodded with a smile.
"She looks a little like you." Ino smirked. Sakura smiled with interest.
"Your pretty Aunt Ino." Sakura reached out to press her finger to Ino's cheek. She was dressed in a sexy formal kimono. Ino grinned.
"Your pretty too Sakura. Are you ready to come? Lady Tsunade wants us backstage to announce you before everyone starts." Ino held her hand and led her out of the Hokage's chambers. They stayed the night there to ensure no one would have seen Sakura before the reveal of the party. Ino and Sakura held hands as Sakura dragged Peiny behind her. Ino looking at it appraisingly.
"Actually Sakura, can you leave that in the room?" Ino pursed her lips. It would not do to bring an Akatsuki doll in the large formal party. She would frighten villagers and cause suspicion.
"But why?" Sakura pouted, looking down at Peiny. She wanted to bring him everywhere.
"I don't want anyone to steal him Sakura-Chan." Ino begged, opening the chamber doors again. "Just throw him on the bed please."
Sakura tossed Peiny and turned around with a giggle. She was ready to get the party over with so she could see see Peiny again. Ino then dragged her down a staircase that led to the backstage area of the auditorium. Lady Tsunade was waiting for them.
"Girls." Tsunade nodded to them when she saw them. She herself was dressed beautifully with a face full of makeup. All the elders of the surrounding villages was coming to Sakura's party. Everyone was ready to reveal their 'surprise'.
"Granny-Chan!" Sakura ran over to her with her arms up. "Um! Ino put my hair up with a bow!" Sakura pointed to her head, which Tsunade rubbed with a chuckle.
"I see that sweetie. You look beautiful." Lady Tsunade let her run in circles around the auditorium as she briefed Ino.
"Now that everyone's ready, I'll be letting everyone into the area in no more than twenty minutes. A crowd is starting to arrive." Lady Tsunade nodded to Ino, and left the stage to address her people. Sakura was panting as she saw the trays and trays of food being brought out after Lady Tsunade.
The area they were in was connected to the Hokage's Tower, with an enormous privacy curtain wrapped around a large stage to make announcements. In front of the stage was a large area that grazed miles of food carts, dance floors, djs, and games. Sakura peeked through the curtain with wide eyes. "Auntie Ino, I've never seen this type of party before." Sakura whispered, Ino grabbed her hand and yanked her out the curtain.
