Everyone has a favorite holiday.
Some like the tricks and treats of Halloween.
Others eat until their stomachs swell on Thanksgiving.
Quite a few people enjoy the positive atmosphere of Christmas.
Everyone loves the attention and presents that come with a birthday.
Those holidays, for those who celebrate it are peaceful reprieves from their everyday lives.
Who needs a holiday when you have college?
Move-in is better than a birthday, sweeter than Halloween candy and more filling than Thanksgiving.
Move-in day, entrance into college -
For some, it symbolizes the transition from teen to adult.
For me, it is that and more.
