Austin's POV
I haven't gotten a wink of sleep. I've just been thinking about what happened last night. The squad and I had been sharing a room for the last couple of days because the dickhead hotel gave away Ruby and Sarah's rooms. I have Liv on my arm. I felt her move slightly and wake up. "Austin?" She asked sleepily. "What's wrong? Have you gotten any sleep?" She asked. I could tell that she was getting worried about me. "I haven't got much sleep." I whispered. "I'm just thinking about what happened last night. Bray Wyatt is stuck in my head." She looked concerned. "Baby you gotta get some sleep." She whispered. "We have an early flight in like six hours." I nodded. "I know. I think I'm gonna go take a walk though. Clear my head." I whispered as I got up and kissed her on the head. "Let me come with you. You look like you could use someone to talk to." She whispered. I nodded. "Let's go on a walk around the block. Maybe that'll help." I said as she slipped on her flip flops. We walked out of the hotel and started up on our walk. It was two in the morning but I don't give a shit. We walked in silence for a little bit before I motioned towards a bench and we sat down. I picked up both her legs and laid them down on my lap. "Do you wanna tell me what's going on?" She asked. I sighed as I started to massage her legs absentmindedly. "Okay I'm not going to deny that what you're doing feels great, but I wanna help you. What's going on?" "Like I said in there, Bray Wyatt is stuck in my head. If he came after me, what's to stop him from going after you? What's to stop him from going after Ruby and Sarah?" "Aw you're worried about us?" She asked. "Trust me hun, we'll be fine." "I know. You guys can take care of yourselves, but that doesn't stop me from worrying. I feel like with me around, the three of you will always be in danger." "Austin please." She whispered. "Please don't say that. We love you Austin. You are an important member of The Riott Squad." I smiled at that. "And I love you guys. Thanks for that Liv." She smiled leaned up and kissed me on the jaw. "Do you feel better now?" She asked me. I nodded. "A bit." I said as we started walking again. We walked until I saw a sign at a bar. "Hey Liv." I got her attention. She walked over. "Karaoke?" She asked confused. "You wanna get shitfaced and make an ass of ourselves on stage?" I asked as she chuckled. "To hell with it. We don't have to work again until Tuesday. Why not?" She asked as I pounded my fist in excitement. We went in and told the workers that we wanted to join in on the fun. About ten minutes later it was time for us to go up on the stage. "What do you wanna sing?" Liv asked me. "You ever hear It ain't me babe?" I asked her. She nodded. "It's been a while I don't know if I remember the lyrics." "Well the lyrics will be on the monitor so you don't have anything to worry about." She smirked. "How convenient." She smirked before kissing me on the cheek. "Tonight, we have two very special guests in the house. Ladies and gentlemen please welcome up to the stage, WWE superstars Austin Thomas and Liv Morgan!" One of the workers said before we went up there. "Hello everyone." I said. "Liv and I are here to sing a couple of songs, but we only have a few figured out. The first one is called it ain't me babe and it was written by Bob Dylan. Hey does anyone have a guitar I can use?" I asked. Someone handed me a guitar and I started to strum it. "You are full of surprises Austin Thomas." Liv whispered a big smile on her face.
A/N A means Austin is singing, A/L means that Austin and Liv are singing. It Ain't Me Babe is a duet. By the way this may or may not be foreshadowing for Broken Out In Love ;)
I smiled back and kissed her on the cheek as I started playing again.
A/ "Go away from my window, leave at your own chosen speed,
I'm not the one you want babe, I'm not the one you need,
A/L"You say you're looking for someone,
Who's never weak, but always strong,
To protect you and defend you, whether you are right or wrong,
Someone to open each and every door,
But it ain't me babe,
No, no, no,
It ain't me babe, it ain't me you're looking for, babe
Go lightly from the ledge, babe,
Go lightly on the ground,
I'm not the one you want, babe,
I'll only let you down,
A/"You say you're looking for someone,
Who'll promise never to part,
Someone to close his eyes for you,
Someone to close his heart,
A/L "Someone to die for you and more,
But it ain't me babe, no, no, no,
It ain't me babe, it ain't me you're looking for, babe,
You say you're looking for someone,
To pick you up each time you fall,
To gather flowers constantly, and to come, each time you call,
And will love you for your life and nothing more,
But it ain't me babe, no, no, no,
It ain't me babe, it ain't me you're looking for, babe
We finished the song and smiled at the reaction that we got for that. "Thanks for that everyone, but we gotta make towns so we gotta go!" I said as I handed back to the guitar to the owner. "Do you feel better babe?" Liv asked me as we walked out of the bar. "A lot. Thank you for indulging me. That was a lot of fun. You have a great voice." I said as she blushed. "Thanks. We should probably get back." I nodded and I put my arm around her as we walked back. That was fun. And I can't wait to get my hands on Bray Wyatt on Tuesday night. Let's do this.
