Austin's POV
I drove by myself to the arena tonight. As much as Liv's talk helped me feel better, I just can't get that sneaky fucking feeling that Bray is going to try something tonight. So at the start of the show, I'm going to go out to the ring and call out that son of a bitch.
The Squad met up with me while I was preparing for my promo. "You feeling a bit better?" Ruby asked. I shrugged. "Not really?" I said. "I just can't get the thought out of my head that Bray might be after you next." They nodded understanding and Liv pulled me in for a hug and kissed me on the jaw. "Just be careful out there. Please?" She asked. I smiled and nodded as I heard my music play. "Showtime." I said before running out there with a purpose. I hit the ring and called for a mic. "Bray Wyatt. That son of a bitch costed me the opportunity of a lifetime at Wrestlemania. I don't know how you guys feel, but I'm looking for a fight. So Bray Wyatt, get your ass out here, right now!" I said as I threw the mic down and the crowd popped. The lights went out and he appeared on the big screen. "In the morning, two stars will rise. One speaks the truth, the other tells lies." He said. I grabbed a mic. "Shut your mouth and get out here now." I said getting more angry by the minute. He chuckled at that. "Well hello to you too Austin. And what a fiery temper it is you have. You know, you want answers, but you haven't the capacity to comprehend their meaning. Or how quickly, we forget, it should have been me last Sunday, climbing those turnbuckles, pointing at the Wrestlemania sign, and grabbing my destiny. But you stole that from me Austin. You stole my destiny. I could have changed things man. I could've been that beacon of hope, that this world so desperately needs. I think it's that ego of yours, that ego, that makes you do such crazy things." He said with an evil smirk on his face. "Come to think of it, you remind me of someone that I knew, a very, very, long time ago. He too, was the chosen one. And his people, they believed, they believed that this chosen one would lead them to paradise. He was chosen, while the other, was cast aside. But now we know they made the wrong choice. And if you don't believe me, all you have to do, is look outside your window. Because then you will see that this, that all of this, is no paradise. In fact, it's quite the opposite don't you think? Just like you and I, Austin. Opposites. I am the yin, to your yang. We balance this whole thing out man. And whether you are willing to admit it or not, we need each other. That's how I knew, that's how I knew last night when I saw you throwing everybody over the top rope, I knew the true justice. The justice that you once said you fought for. It needed to be sought out. Anyone but you, Austin. Anyone. But. You. I will tempt you. I will lie to you. I will haunt you, and ultimately I will destroy you. But not tonight. I mean, what kind of example would we be setting with Valentines Day right around the corner?" He asked holding up a picture of Liv and I. "We riot." He whispered chuckling before looking back towards the camera. "Run!" I threw the mic down before running towards the back. I got to our locker room before throwing the door open. "Are you guys okay?!" I asked louder than intended, panic rising. "Yes we're okay. What happened out there?" Ruby asked. "Bray's going to be coming after you." I said. "You guys need to leave." "What?" Liv asked quietly. "I can't live with myself is something happened to you. For this week at the very least, I think it would be best if you went home. Once I deal with Bray, I will come see you, but as of now, it's not safe for you to be here." I said as Hunter knocked at the door. "Come in!" "Listen I heard what happened out there, and what you told them, and I gotta say, I think you're right." He said. "Hunter please don't-" Ruby tried to cut in but Hunter held up a hand. "The number one priority right now is for the three of you to be safe. Once Austin takes care of him, you guys can come back bigger and better than ever. Until then, think of it as a vacation. Go do things that you wouldn't be able to do normally." "Listen I love you girls to death, but Hunter's right. Bray is way too dangerous. And now that he's set his sights on you, this is the best course of action." They all sighed but nodded. I brought them all in for a group hug and kissed them all on the head. "I'll come see you guys once I've taken care of this okay? I love you guys." They repeated my words before they got their stuff together. I walked them out to the parking lot and got them a ride to the air port. "I'll face time later." I told them before the driver pulled out of the arena parking lot. I went back into the arena and met up with Hunter. "Alright kiddo. So I've just sanctioned at steel cage match between you and Bray at Fastlane. And because this is shaping up to be on of the biggest feuds in WWE when it barely started, the winner, will get to face AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania. That got me even more excited when he said that part about AJ Styles and the WWE championship. Not only do I get my hands on a guy that I hate, but if I win, I get to face one of my best friends in this entire industry. "Thanks Hunter." I said smiling. "Don't mention it kiddo. Good luck!" He said before walking off. I figured since I'm done for the night I might as well get back to the hotel. "Just got done talking to Hunter. Got a cage match at Fastlane with Wyatt. Winner gets AJ Styles at Mania." I texted The Squad in our group chat. I got a text back fast from Liv. "Can't wait to watch! Good luck babe, we'll be there in spirit supporting you!" It said. I smiled and threw my phone in my bag. Fastlane approaches. Wyatt has no idea what he started. But you can bet your ass that I'm going to finish it.
