Steph's POV:

"What a douche, right?" I was venting to the bartender for the third time this week. He simply nodded and that's when I heard, "Steph, let's go home. Home to your girls." I turned around and Jaime and Joey were standing there in their usual suits. Seeing a suit disgusted me at this point. Or it could've been the booze but either way, they were the last faces I wanted to see. They reminded me of Seth and Seth reminded me of Hunter. Every time I think of Hunter, I wanna throw up. Or, again, maybe that was the booze.

"They're with their grandparents. Relax. I'm not an idiot. I wouldn't leave them home alone so I can come drown my sorrows in a bar." They both glanced at one another then Joey cleared his throat, "Still. It wouldn't look good for the company if the boss has to be carried out of the bar drunk." "You know what? That's the problem with WWE. Appearances. If something looks even a little less than perfect, we get rid of the problem or we clean up the mess. I now understand why Punk, along with several of our best talent, left this company. This place looks so perfect onscreen but behind the scenes, we are not! We treat people like shit! And for what? We're no better than them and I-"

I got interrupted by an unfamiliar accent on the other side of the bar, "I'll take her home. Don't worry." "I'm not going." I stopped and across the bar was one of those new NXT guys that Hunter just signed. What's his name again? Shit I can't remember. I can barely remember my own name. "Finn, that's nice of you-" "Finn! Finn is taking me home. So beat it Joey. Beat it Jaime." I didn't have to tell them again. They shrugged mumbling, "Well we can say we tried." I laughed watching them walk out the bar like little robots. "Well, well, well. If it isn't Finn Balor. I've heard great things about you." I smiled at him. He's cute. He chuckled, "Have you? I've heard scary things about you, Mrs. Helmsley." I frowned, "Please don't call me that. I don't know who that is."

"Ah. I see. Trouble in paradise?" Finn asked walking over and sitting next to me. "Yeah I mean..he's just so..complicated, you know? I mean am I not good enough anymore? What does Nikki Bella have that I don't? I try so hard, Finn. I try to be the perfect wife. The perfect mother. The perfect everything and this is what I get? Everything's ruined now. Now, I'm a single mother. How am I suppose to manage that? I've never had to do this alone. He's always been there and now.." Alcohol breaks even the strongest of people. That's why in that moment I cried my eyes out in front of Finn.

Finn was a perfect gentleman about it and reached over wiping my tears away with his hand. I was so drunk that I couldn't tell if he was to but he didn't sound drunk. If he was, he was really good at not showing it. "Don't cry, Steph. It's okay. You and Hunter will work things out and everything will be fine. This will all blow over." "No! No. He's done. It's over Finn. There's more Authority." He sighs, "Come on. I'm taking you home. You need some rest." "But I-" "Come on." He grabbed my arm gently and we exited the bar.
