stick a tongue out
balance a dragon scale
wish for a love story
as exotic.
swivel it around in your mouth
wine simmering in,
acetous.
swallow it whole
thinking of the scale falling apart
forever punished.
for trying to piece a heart together
can't throw it up
but that's okay
on your skin grows a million
more dragon scales
someday you will rescue your bride
