I'll take a pair of scissors
and cut the ether
into seven billion pieces of ultramarine
I'll make a bed
out of clouds and dying stars
and when I sleep they will rise and reach farI'll forage meteors for food
I'll sip moonlight from teacups
I'll braid my hair with nebulas
I'll make hot springs out of the Milky WayWhen astronauts come to take me away
I'll tell Mars to send a sandstorm
he loves me more than they ever will
When aliens come to take me hostage
I know they just want a friendSomeday everyone should climb
climb
climb up the ladder
and never come back down
We will build cities from craters
play Romeo and Juliet on Venus
The fireworks are a much better view
here
togetherIf I stay
here forever
far far away
from war and hell and happiness and love and
Earth
at least my heart still beats. beats. beats.
let my heart keep on shining.the room is still dark
