You have heard of this aesop before.
you fall seven times
you get up eight
because someone used resolve
as bait
because someone said "if you don't
MOVE
you will never see the finishing line
you won't."
You have not heard that you cannot
stop moving, because you are
running across quicksand.
fall
into your coffin
seven times
stand tall
and keep running
until you don't hear the rhyme
funeral bells chime
eight.
because someone said "don't let
the sand eat
you up."
How long
do you have to keep on
lying to yourself?
because someone said "MOVE"
but the sand moves too
dragging you
down to
an underground
graveyard with
EVERY
POUND
of a HEARTBEAT.
because someone said "MOVE"
but if you move any further
the only way you will go is
