"It's quiet" she said looking around

"I know, I like it" he said, mouthing the words in her neck

She wanted to tell him, she was scared of his answer and she didn't know if it was just a phase or not. Of course she was sure about it looking in her future, but was she ready now?

"Your thoughts are loud, are you ok?" he questioned her

She brought herself on her other side, facing him

"I just have something in my mind" she said

"Wanna share?" he asked smiling at her

"It's something I've been thinking about a lot in those last days but I don't know if it's the right time you know" she started, looking at him

"Well, it depends, what's the problem?" he asked

"It's too quiet here" she said again

"You've already said it" he was confused

"I don't want it to be quiet everyday" she pointed out

"Kate honey, I'm sorry but I don't get what's the problem... what's wrong with quiet? Do you wanna put on some music?" he asked even more confused

She bit her lower lip looking at him and then looking down

"What I'm tryna say is that..." she paused, looking at him

"I think I'm ready for... you know, start a family maybe?" she continued, trying not to sound too nervous about it

He didn't answer, he just looked at her, making her feel even more nervous. They haven't talked about it in years, since he told her that he'd like the option to have more kids. What if he changed his mind?

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have... I just thought you'd like that, if you changed your mind it's-" she was cut off by his lips on hers

He positioned himself on top of her, kissing her deeply and pinning her on the bed, making her moan

"Do you want to have a baby?" he asked her smiling

"I- think so" she was still a bit confused by his reaction

"Babe, listen" he started, bringing them both up in a sitting position

"There won't be a right time when it comes to babies, I just want you to be a hundred percent sure about it cause... as much as I want us to have a baby, you'd be the one who's gonna get through morning sickness, pain, hormones and physically carrying her for 9 months. So, whenever you're ready, I'm ready" he softly smiled at her

She smiled back, kissing him softly

"I think I am. At least we can start trying you know" she smirked at him

"We definitely can" he laughed, bringing her back down on the bed and kissing her

"One more thing" she said stopping him

"How do you know for sure it will be a girl? You said 'carrying her', how can you be so sure?" she asked laughing

"Please, she will be a girl for sure, just as beautiful as her mother" he smiled looking at her in the eyes before starting kissing her again
