Chapter Twenty: High-Rankers

Your Thoughts: What a day it was yesterday, fighting completely Awakened Beings, and fighting in my Devil Trigger. And they're improving well too.

The morning was on the horizon you had woken up early proceeded to shine Rebellion with a rag while observing over the sleeping individuals. During the battle, you had noticed Clare was getting frustrated and was trying her hardest to deal damage. Elena seemed more relaxed compared to her friend. You were thinking it had something to do with her being an Offensive Warrior. 

Your Thoughts: With her like this now, let's see how she fairs against an Awakened Being. But I need her to focus more on reading the flow of Yoki. So when her next assignment is announced, I think I'll go with her to assist with her Yoki flow training. Plus, I need to know what that form is that I had taken on in the dream of mine. If it is real, I must figure out a way to unleash it.

Looking up at the sky you grinned at the excitement of a new power you could awaken, just the thought of having some new power that Vergil did not cause you to chuckle. You would be one-upping him without him knowing. But part of you had a feeling he was figuring out his way of achieving greater heights of power as well. Probably in a more twisted way as well.

The afternoon was quite normal really, the four of you were traveling with you giving Raki pointers on how to fight. Such as using a gun or how to use a sword. Though, your explanations were kind of hard to explain. And even after trying to show him was difficult due to your supernatural speed. But alas, you would try in some way to get him to understand. 

Right now you had decided to help Clare with an assignment she had been tasked with in dealing with a group of what was supposed to be Voracious Eaters. Clare was supposed to wait for the other Claymore to arrive, but she had gone into the town and dealt with them. With you coming along as well to drain them of their Yoki. Right now you had drained a Yoma dry of its Yoki and was a bit disappointed with the small amount it contained.

Looking at the others you had drained you believed it was time to head back to Clare, you could sense three other warriors were coming this way. Must be the ones that Clare had told you would be helping with the Yoma here. You had also remembered Clare saying one could be a Voracious Eater, sadly none of them were or you would have been thrilled to no end. 

Y/N: Ever since I've gotten a better handle on this power I've been getting a little greedy with Yoki.

Walking through the city you had finally found Clare who was just sheathing her sword when you heard the clanking of metal heading this way. Looking in the direction of the noise you could see three warriors running this way. Each was pretty high in power, but the one in front exceeded the other two behind her. Judging from her appearance she had to be a single-digit warrior. Feeling her Yoki it was closer to Ophelia than Galatea, so you predicted maybe Warrior #5-7.

Your Thoughts: Oh this could be a little problematic with me now.

???: Were you the one that had dealt with the Yoma here, don't you know we were supposed to deal with them?

Clare: No, I was one of the two but I had some assistance.

The high ranked warrior glanced at you as you waved, something about you didn't feel right.

???: And just who exactly are you, it's hard for me to believe that a human was able to take on a Yoma with ease?

Y/N: Let's just say a traveling companion of your fellow Claymore, and believe me I've been able to take on Yoma even for a human.

???'s Thoughts:... You can say that all you like I can tell you are no ordinary human, I can sense your Yoki and it rivals that of a single-digit warrior. And hers, it's almost on par with his who could she be.
