Chapter five - Who is she?

You stood and stared at him for a moment, he had a very feminine face, he looked.... strangely pretty.

You got out of your daydream and smiled,
"You're p-" he cut off your sentence and sat up,
"-retty cool!" He said quickly.

He walked over to the fire and as you followed him he gave you his mask,
"You can dry it right?"

"Y-yeah" You were still a little shook he had actually given it to you-

You couldn't stop looking at his face, for such a muscular body his face could be that of a girls.

You sat on a log and used your tails to dry it, he stretched as you did this. You finished shortly after since your tails are really fluffy.

You smiled and gave it back to him,
He mumbled something that sounded like a thanks before putting it back on.

It was almost night time already.

You suddenly heard a rustle, your ears perked up.

He hadn't noticed, and he kept walking to the dead fire.

You looked around cautiously and then you heard the rustle again. You looked down at the bush and backed up,
*Maybe its an animal?*

You looked over at boar man then the bush, the bush was moving.

You backed up more, until you finally saw it pop out.

.

A cat?!

You immediately went up to it and got in your knees to pet it,
"Awe~"

It meowed at you and rubbed against you, boar man suddenly looked at you,
"What is that?!" He asked,

"A cat!"

"A what?!"

"Just get over here!"

He ran over to your spot with his swords, just in case.

He looked down at it,
"...?"

You kept on petting it,
"Isn't it pretty?"
"It reeks of demon.... imma kill it"

He got his swords out,
"Wait wait no!" You quickly shouted

He kept them up,
"It smells like demon!"

"Maybe he just ran away from one!?"

He looked at you and just stared,
"Please can we keep him?!" You asked

"Pweaseeeee" You made your voice go all sweet.

" n o " He said firmly.

"Pweaseeeee" You held the cat up to your face, he seemed pretty mad...

"Drop it!"

" p w e a s e "

"......" he thought about it for a moment.

"Maybe-" He grumbled,

You squealed out happily,
"YAY!"

He lowered his swords ever so slightly and glared at the cat, it seemed to return the glare and hissed at him. Insouke tried to hiss back at it,

"Both of you be nice!"

It squirmed a bit and jumped out of your hands, it ran into the forest meowing, you suddenly grabbed boar mans arm,
"We have to follow it!"

"No we don't-" He tried to say.

You ran, dragging boar man behind you, he didn't seem too happy about it.

You kept on following the cat until you met a plains, you looked around for the cat.

He had sat right in the middle and was just siting there, waiting. 

Waiting for what? What could a cat be waiting for...?

You let go of boar mans arm to go over to the cat, he stopped you from going.

"Huh?"

"Stay here" he ordered and looked around.

You look around too, but then you heard the cat meowed which drew your attention. You subconsciously walked closer to it, but boar man yet again stopped you.

Then you heard it, more rustling.

You knew what he was talking about now.

You looked around quickly, you saw movement in a nearby tree and pointed up to it,
"There," you mumbled out.

He had his swords ready and he looked like he was about to attack.

You heard a giggle that sent shivers down your spine,
"Stay close," He mumbled, you instantly hid behind him and got your claws ready.

You saw a figure jump out of the tree, it was a girl.

She was a tall girl with long black hair that came to her chest. She had little horns coming out of her head and a long tail with an arrow tip at the end.

She had a smile on her face that gave you the chills.

She giggled again,
"Hi~" Her voice alone sent a chill all through your body.

What the hell was that thing?!
