 Kassidy

Cory didn't actually end up staying for dinner. His mom called and scolded him because he wasn't home.

"Is he your boyfriend?" My mom asks as she washes the dishes and I dry and put them away.

"No, mom, he's nowhere near it. I just met him," I explain.

"You are wearing his jacket." She says flatly.

"So?" I ask.

"Let me rephrase that, you wore his lettermen jacket, Kassidy lettermen jackets are kind of a big thing!" My mom says and I look down at his jacket that was still wrapped around me.

"Trust me, mom, it doesn't mean anything," I say and put the last cup away.

"Whatever, Kassidy. No more boys here when I'm not home, and no boys in your room. No boys period. You need to focus on school. Find some girlfriends to keep you occupied. No boys."

I scoff at her statement and roll my eyes.

"I'm 16 mom, why can't I have a boyfriend!" I ask in anger.

"So he is your boyfriend?" My mom accuses me.

"God! No mom, I just met him! Today is the first day I have ever seen him, I wouldn't date him right away!" I yell and storm off to my room.

Music spilled from the speakers in my room, drowning out my thoughts as I stared at the ceiling.

An eery feeling cascaded over me, making me shiver. I sat up and looked around. The window was open. I sighed and went to close it. The moon was aluminizing the ground. I glanced over the yard when I saw it. More like them.

Two green eyes staring back at me.

I let out a gasp and slammed the window shut and stumbled away from the window, my butt hit the ground with a thump.

My breathing continued to get more unstable as the lights flicked off. I quickly stood and ran to the lightswitch, flickering it on and off a few times. The lights didn't turn on. I did it a few more times until they finally did.  A shock went up to my arm.

"Shit." I breathed out and sucked on my burning finger.

Green eyes haunted my dreams through the night.

When I woke up it didn't even feel real, and I was left wondering whether or not it even happened.

A/n- I know it's kind of short, but it just needed to cut off here.
