Denise's PoV

Pagbalik ko sa may parking lot, wala dun si Gio. San nagpunta yun?

"Tulong!! Tulooong!!"

Teka si Tricia ba yun?!

Napatakbo ako kung san ko narinig yung sigaw but the moment I saw Gio lying down in the middle of the road nanghina ako

"Gio!! Tumawag kayo ng ambulansya ano ba?!"

"Denise, papunta na daw" Tricia

"Ano Tricia?! Ganun na ba kalala yang galit mo to the point of getting him killed?! Ha?!"

"Denise-"

"Manahimik ka. Ayaw kitang makita o kahit makausap man lang. Ambulansya!!"

Hawak hawak ko lang si Gio habang walang malay

"Gio kumapit ka please!! Gio!!"

Pagdating ng ambulansya, sinakay agad namin si Gio at dinala sa ospital. Pinasok agad siya sa emergency room.

Maya maya lang lumabas na yung doktor

"Who are the relatives of Giovanni Pineda?"

"A-ako po!!"

"You are his?"

"Girlfriend po"

"Where are his parents iha?"

"W-wala po akong contact sa kanila sir"

"I need to speak to them sorry"

"Dok! Kamusta si Gio??? Please just tell me he's okay??"

"Miss, I'm sorry but the patient is currently in a coma. I need to speak with the parents for the tests that needs to be done"

"C-coma?? Dok?!"

"Yes. He has hit his head from the accident. The impact was hard which caused the head trauma"

"M-magigising naman siya di ba dok?!"

"He is being observed. For now, we need his parents"

"O-ok po. I'll find a way to get in touch with them. Thank you"

"Inform me as soon as possible ok? Ililipat na muna yung pasyente sa room"

I managed to contact Gio's parents gamit yung phone niya. They'll arive here in any minute.

"Denise" Tricia

"Anong ginagawa mo dito? Ayan naospital na, comatose, ok ka na?!"

"C-comatose si Gio?"

"Oo! Di ba yan ang gusto mo?! Mamatay siya just to prove a point?!"

"No! Hindi ko gustong mamatay si Gio!"

"Hah. Tell me that when he wakes up. Tricia, si Gio nagpapasaya saken! What did he do to deserve your hate?! Ha?!"

"Mali ako! Oo! I've realised that!"

"When he's now unconscious saka mo narealise? Great. Just great"

"I-I'm sorry Denise..."

"Lumayas ka muna sa harapan ko utang na loob Tricia"

When she left, napaupo ako sa silya sa labas ng kwarto ni Gio. All he did was to love, bakit kailangan mangyare to sa kanya?

Treatments and tests are done with Gio pero hindi pa rin siya nagigising. The impact may have caused a great damage daw kaya ganun.

"Gio please wake up. Baby I miss you already"

It's been what? 3 months? In those months I make sure andito ako sa tabi niya. Minsan sinasamahan ako ni mama. His parents can't stay because of business priorities. I don't have the energy to argue anymore bahala sila kung ayaw nilang alagaan si Gio basta andito ako.

"Gio... you don't want me crying do you? P-please wake up... gumising ka na naman oh"

I always talk to him. Kahit na naiiyak ako sa tuwing ginagawa ko yun patuloy pa rin ako sa pagsasalita sa kanya. I have to make him feel I am here... waiting for him to come back. Na andito pa ako.

"Gio... miss na miss na kita... yung luto mo... yung mga yakap mo... Gio" i held his hands tight. Napayuko ako. I felt that any minute tutulo na naman ang luha ko

Nagulat ako ng biglang humigpit ang hawak ni Gio sa kamay ko kaya napatingala ako sa kanya
