UMm yah i haven't had alot of time to write, what with all the Christmas hype :) umm yeah just to point out, i do have a plot coming up... i hope. Um yeah anyways Merry Christmas :)
Leaning against the railing again I could see the sky was slowly starting to light up. We'd spent the whole night talking and finally Michael was going to drop me back off at my hotel. Since I still had my swimmers on, I was going to pretend that I'd come out for a swim. And then tell my parents that I had accidently left the key card up in the room.
"Hey, I just want to say thanks again for covering for me back there," Adam said, coming up behind me. I spun around at his voice and saw him smirking at my surprised face. I relaxed after the shock though and playfully slapped his arm.
"Anytime, you didn't ask for it to happen, but I can't believe I had to act like a fan girl," I said, shaking my head in shame.
"Ha, ha yeah it didn't really seem your type but luckily they bought it," he laughed.
"Yeah luckily," I muttered. Running a hand through my hair I looked back at him and we smiled. Hollywood had perfected his smile, and his teeth gleamed. We fell into a somewhat awkward silence, as neither of us had anything else to say. Rob's voice interrupted us, as we awkwardly sat there.
"ELLIE ARE YOU READY?"
"NO, I STILL NEED TO GET EVERYONE'S DIRTY TISSUES," I screamed back.
I heard some chuckles, and started making my way to the other room, stretching my arms behind me. Walking through the glass doors I saw everyone ready to go.
"Am I getting an honour guard?" I joked. I was pretty sure I wasn't but still, a girl could dream. My legs itched painfully from all the Mozzie bites and i forced myself not to scratch them. You'd look like an idiot, Don't do it Ellie i told myself.
"Ha, you wish, no apparently everyone wants to see you off," Michael said, rolling his eyes. I stared at them all in surprise.
"Yah, well we figured your pretty cool," Julie piped in, jumping forward.
"Really?" I asked surprised. I thought they would've been glad to get rid of me.
"Speak for yourself," Michael muttered. I slapped his arm as I walked past and grinned as he started rubbing it.
"Aw you little sook," I cooed, laughing at his scowl. He narrowed his eyes and fell down into one of the whicker chairs.
"We have definitely got to stay in touch," Ashley called from the other room.
"Um may I ask why you want to stay in touch with someone like me. I hope you realise that if you piss me off I will post your email address on twitter, facebook and all other global communication websites," I joked. That could actually be the best revenge ever, I thought secretly. I saw them all kind of freeze and exchange nervous glances. I saw Andrew actually taking a step behind the wicker lounge.
There was an awkward silence and I couldn't resist. "Awkward," I muttered in my high pitch voice. Ashley and Julie giggled but no one else did, which made me crack up even more. I looked at everyone in the silence and saw them giving me amused looks. I laughed, more out of being uncomfortable from having them all watch me and i slipped my thongs on.
"I think the word we're looking for is, anyway," Rob interjected. Everyone laughed again and it was comfortable again.
I felt myself remembering my thoughts from the other night, "For some reason I had this image in my head, of all of us here being friends. I was that person they could talk to, complain about the paparazzi." Maybe I could be that person, I thought. Man you sound up yourself when you say that, my brain told me. I slapped my arm, stop thinking stuff like that, I thought angrily.
