"You know you're playing a dangerous game." Nick said as he felt a presence beside him. He turned and came face to face with the split haired man, looking at him curiously.
"How do you figure?" The man asked, staring straight ahead. He had a scar over his left eye, that was also a bright titian orange, contrasting with his right brown eye. One half of his hair was a pale blonde, bordering white, and the other half a rich brown.
"All the responsibilities you're putting on him. Don't you think its a bit much for a 14 year old, Domino?" Nick asked.
"The children of Lady Luck have a lot of weight on their shoulders." He watched as Felix giggled, and his eyes lingered on Peter for a second. "I was his age when my responsibilities first came to me."
"You didn't have someone pulling the strings for you." Nick countered.
"Didn't I?" There was a glint in Domino's eye as he rose and left Nick on the bench by himself.
