"Brad? Hailey? You guys home?" I asked. No response. "Jess, they aren't home," I told Jess. She have me a weird look, "that's weird... Jayden isn't home either..." We both gave each other the same look. "Shit! Jess we'd better go now! NOW!" I grabbed her hand and got into my car. We drove to out usual meeting place at our beach house. I parked the car and we ran to our beach house. The sea looked inviting and the breeze was so cooling. I was trying to resist myself from jumping into the waters instead of looking for my brother and Jayden. Jess and I ran into our beach house and heard shouting.
"Look Jayden, I wad being too aggressive just now and I'm sorry. I did it because I have my reasons," a voice spoke. It was Brad's. "What's your reason then? You're in love with her?" Jayden sarcastically replied. "What the hell? Dude, she's my sister! And it's her story to tell, not mine," tears slowly rolled down my cheeks, I knew what he was talking about. "You guys have been keeping stuff away from me?" Jayden sounded angry. "That's because it's personal," Brad simply explained. "You don't trust me?" Jayden yelled. "Not that I don't, it'd kill her if it happens again, and I can't let that happen," Brad mumbled. "Brad, you have no idea how much I love her. I swear I will never leave her heartbroken. Hell, I wouldn't even leave her," Jayden's voice softened. "I'm sorry, dude," Brad said, steadying his voice. "I'm sorry too," Jayden sighed.
"Ash! They're coming down! Lets go!" Jess whispered-shouted. I snapped out of thoughts and gave her a quick nod. But it was too late...
