Ashley's POV
"C'mon I'll send you home," I said. "Are you sure you wanna stay home alone?" Jess asked.
"Yes, mum," I chuckled. She rolled her eyes and I laughed.
"Hey, you were thinking about Dexter just now weren't you?" She asked me softly. I stopped smiling almost immediately when I heard his name. "Shit, sorry, I didn't mean t-" Jess spoke, I interrupted her, "yea, I'm okay," I was lying of course and she knew it. But she didn't push it further.
"Hey, wanna grab a Starbucks first?" I asked, trying to clear the awkwardness. She gave me a smile and nodded. I smiled and took a turn so that we can head to the mall. The radio started to play something familiar. I turned up the volume and squealed. Jess did the same. "Our song!!!" We both exclaimed.

"Don't ever say you're lonely, just lay your problems on me, you know I'll be waiting there for you.
The stars can be so blinding, when you get tired of fighting, you know the one you can look to." (Ashley)

"When the vision you have gets blurry, you don't have to worry, I'll be your eyes.
That's the least I can do cause when I fell, you pulled me through." (Jess)

And then the chorus came and we both went insane.

Then came the music interlude and we just started to dance in our sits, swinging our hair and all, people might've thought we were cray but we don't give a shit.

"DAMN I LOVE UNION J SO FRIGGIN MUCH! ASH THAT WAS THE PERFECT NOTE! YOU DID IT!!!" Jess squealed.
I covered my mouth in shock, I didn't even know I could hit the last note. "OH MY GOSH!!! NOW WE CAN GO TO THEIR CONCERT!" I gasped. She started laughing and I started laughing too.
"C'mon, lets go get our Starbucks." I said, wiping my tears away.
"Yea, we should, before I tear your car down," she said in between her laughing. I playfully hit her shoulder, and we both got out of the car, as we linked our arms and made our way to the mall, talking about whatever shit that just came into our minds. This is why Jess is my best friend. She makes me forget everything. Well, almost everything.
