Adrien POV:

When the girl, Volpina knocked me out, I was glad to be put out of my misery. I hated how she beat me, but I hated how she actually flirted. That's MY JOB!

I awoke in a jail cell next to Nino. There was a guard at the door, and looking down the hall, I could see all of the crew, except Marinette.

"You're finally awake." Nino said "You've been asleep for at least an hour longer than me."

"Hey Nino, Where's Marinette?" I whispered

"She wasn't brought in. Alya said that Hawkmoth is going to question her about the island." Nino whispered back.

"Quiet over there!" One of the guards said

Nino and I exchanged worried looks for a while, then the orange girl came to my cell and opened it.

"Get up, cutie." She said

I grumbled as I stood up. She placed handcuffs on my wrists, and led me out. I figured I shouldn't try to escape. They had Marinette, and I couldn't let anything happen to her.

Volpina pushed me into a closet-type room, and tossed me some clothes.

"You need to look respectable for your daddy." She said, closing the door for me to change and taking off the cuffs.

I put the clothes on hurriedly. If Hawkmoth had Marinette, and I was eyeing taken to my father, that meant I would see Marinette! I looked over myself and made a disgusted look. They had given me an outfit meant for a prince. Not a pirate. The boots were the only things that were somewhat acceptable for a pirate.

I opened the door, and Volpina put the cuffs on. We walked for a while, up several stairs and many hallways.

When we finally got to a huge white door, two guards told us to wait so they could tell Hawkmoth we were coming. Volpina hugged my arm, making me uncomfortable as she felt my bicep.

The guards finally came back and nodded. Volpina led me through the door.

I was shocked at first, then I was angry.

Marinette must've woken up a lot faster. She was in a proper lady's dress now. It was a white that faded to a pink color. Like the one she had on when I first saw her on that other boat. She was tied to a chair with her arms behind her back. But what made me angry was the small cut on her cheek that had slowly bled down onto her neck.

I looked at my dad. He was wearing the purple butterfly suit, like the last time I had seen him.

He saw me and stood up from his chair across the room from Marinette.

"Ah, if it isn't my little son." He said

I didn't smile. "Hello, father." I said, my spine running cold

He walked to me and smiled, evilly

"I thought you'd never come back after I disowned you, but here you are. Even if it is under a new captain's rule." He said

"Get to the point." I said, still not smiling

He laughed and walked back towards Marinette.

"Your lady companion is quite stubborn. She won't tell me where the island is. But perhaps you would know, being my son." He said

I looked from my dad, to Marinette, and back to my dad again.

"The island?" I asked

"Yes, the island containing the Miraculouses." He said

When I looked confused, he looked back to Marinette.

"So you haven't told anyone else?" He asked

"No." She said with a hard glare. She was clearly not giving anything away.

My dad laughed and grabbed a dagger from his desk. I looked closer and realized he had her daggers, sword, and pistol. I didn't see the bow and arrow, but she either hid it, or hawkmoth destroyed it.

He held the blade against Marinette's throat, but she didn't move. Her face didn't change either. She wasn't going to give anything away, but he couldn't kill her. He needed the information.

He kept pressing the blade into her throat until a thin line of blood came from her neck.

He stopped pressing, then came over to me. I didn't know what to expect, and he definitely surprised me. He spun me around and took out my legs so I was kneeling on the ground, facing Marinette.

Hawkmoth put the blade against my throat. I could still feel her blood on the dagger against my throat.

"You won't let a member of your crew die, will you?" He asked

"He's your son! What is wrong with you?" Marinette yelled

I could hear Volpina snickering behind me. I gritted my teeth as the dagger was pressed harder against my skin.

"I will do it. I will stop at nothing to get the Miraculous." Hawkmoth said

Marinette looked at him. I could tell she was looking into him, deep into his eyes, like she had done before with me. After a minute, maybe less, she drew back.

"You would do it. You've already killed..." She trailed off

Hawkmoth pressed the blade harder.

"Where is it?" He said

"I—I will show you... On your map..." She said

Hawkmoth smiled and walked over to her. He cut the ropes around her, revealing a set of handcuffs.

She walked to the map slowly. Hawkmoth took the cuffs off, but gave her a warning look. Marinette picked up a smaller dagger, looked at it, then suddenly stabbed a place on the map. I looked at it, and remembered the carvings on one of the specially carved daggers. "No you no me till 43"... The place on the map was 0 degrees latitude, 43 degrees longitude. Making the marked place rather a spot in the sea, but Marinette assured that it was an island not yet inhabited by people.

"Excellent, but you and your friends ill be accompanying us." Hawkmoth said "Scilencer!" He yelled

A guy with blue hair and black clothes came into the room. I recognized him as the guy who tried to beat Marinette. Marinette won though...

Hawkmoth said something in Scilencer's ear, and Scilencer grinned.

"Yes Hawkmoth." He said, then he put the cuffs back on Marinette and led her out of the room

Hawkmoth nodded to Volpina, and she took me to a guest room. She told me to prepare myself for the journey. When she left, I tore off the princely wear and saw extra clothes in the dresser. I took out a faded white shirt that was almost see through, and black pants. I decided to keep the boots, as they were actually kind of comfortable.

I also took the knife from the fruit plate and hid it in the boot, just in case.

Volpina came back shortly after and put the cuffs on again. She led me to a ginormous ship, but instead of putting me in a holding cell, she brought me to a room.

"This is my room, and you'll be staying with me." She said

I groaned, but she covered my mouth with a gag. It smelled weird, and next thing I knew, I was out cold, on the floor of her cabin.
