Miraculous Pirates

Chapter 10

Marinette POV:

Ah, the ridiculously annoying stupidity of men.

When Scilencer took me to his cabin, he put a rag over my mouth and I was out cold. Little did he know that I would be sleeping until 6:00 AM. That Is when I alsways wake up, no matter when I fall asleep, and I'm always fully rested when I wake up too.

I sat up, blinking up eyes. I was on a bed. I looked at my hands. They were bound with a rope, that was connected to the bedpost. I check the bed, and yes, it was bolted to the floor. I was having serious problems with this reoccurring  scene.

"Wow. You're finally awake." I heard Scilencer say behind me

I turned around to see him at a desk with two plates of food. He held one out to me, and I tried to get it, but the rope to which my hands were bound kept me. 

"Ah, yes. I nearly forgot about that." He said

He stood up and came to me with the food.

"Would you like me to feed you?" He asked

"I can lift a fork, you know." I said

"Right. While we're talking, why did you sleep for so long? I put you out in the middle of the day, but you didn't wake up for dinner. I even tried to wake you up, but you slept like a rock." He said

"Whenever I go to sleep, I wake up at 6:00 AM No matter what." I said, filling my mouth with some fish not quite cooked enough. Oh well.

"Why didn't you wake up?" He asked

"I can sleep through anything." I said

"Nah. I could probably wake you up." He said

I gave him a look. "Pal, i've Slept through a tsunami before." I said

He raised an eyebrow

"Seriously. Just ask any one of my crew members. Well, the girls. The boys hadn't become part of the crew yet." I said

He shrugged, then stood up. He went back to his desk as I finished the fish. When I was done eating, I saw him standing behind me.

"You're a beautiful girl." He said

"Ugh. Why do guys keep saying that right before they attack me?" I asked in frustration

I looked at him "Is that a sword in your hand?" I asked

He laughed and threw the small dagger to the side of the bed. I thought about an escape and reached for it, but he grabbed it. 

"You'll have to get it from me." He said, tauntingly

I stood up on the tips of my toes, but he held it above his head. Curse these people taller than me. 

I jumped up and barely got the dagger.

I turned around to cut the ropes, but I felt something on my neck. I turned my head to see him kissing along the length of my neck and shuddered.

Suddenly, he grabbed the dagger from my hand and threw it across the room, out of my reach.

I sighed in frustration, but he wasn't done.

He pushed my shoulders down onto the bed, then he practically laid on top of me. His lips connected with my neck again, but I thought about my other dagger.

I felt my thigh and found that my dagger was still there. I slowly slid it out and started to cut the rope silently. 

I sliced through the rope and pushed Scilencer off of me
