Yurio just flopped a performance. Yuri and Victor where so excited after Yuri coming first and they were planting soft kisses all over each other's faces and Yurio felt his stop.
It's was about 4am in Russia Yurio had woken up from a horrific nightmare and started crying uncontrollably Otabek sat up straight right away and saw Yurio curled into a ball next to him
O- "Hey.. whats wrong kitten?"
Y- "I just had a nightmare, everything is unbearable, I can't even be by myself for two seconds! What's wrong with me.."
Yurio started crying and pulling at his hair, Trying to make the voices go away Otabek pulled Yurio into a tight hug Yurio began to calm down and wrapped his arms around Otabek, the two boys laid down together- still holding eachother, Yurio drifted off to sleep, while Otabek sat awake, Making sure Yurio was okay.
(Next day- 8:00 am)
Otabek must've fallen asleep at one point of the night, because he was laying next to Yurio, dead asleep. Yurio had woken up before Otabek and decided to head downstairs and put on some TV He sat down on the couch and watched the news. At this point, Yurio had completely forgotten about ice skating, after all the pain it had brought him, he basically shut it out of his brain and he wanted nothing to do with it. Yurio switched channels until he found something somewhat interesting.
Y- "oh. The sports channel. I'll check it out I guess."
Yurio watched the sports channel for a few minutes. Eventually the tennis that was on had ended, so a new sport took screen.
TV- "next up we have pair figure skating, Victor Nikiforov and Yuri Katsuki"
Yurio sat in silence as the married couple danced around on the ice, Yurio remembered how heart broken he felt after his last performance, how much of a disgrace he was. He never wanted to feel like that ever again.
O- "aw look at those two. We should go to the rink where we met and try out stuff like that."
Y- "I can't even skate that good..people will make fun of me."
O- "and if they do I will rip off their face and shove it somewhere unpleasant."
Y- "I love how respectful you are."
Yurio got up from the couch and wrapped his arms around Otabeks neck and pulled him into a kiss
O- "so do you want to do the pair skating?"
Y- "Well sure, as long as I'm with you. I'm happy."
Yurio smiled and continued kissing Otabek, Then Yurio pulled away
"I'm gonna take a shower."
Yurio kissed Otabek on the cheek and ran upstairs and into the bathroom, once he got into the shower, he did everything in his power to stay calm and not freak out like last time. He focused on a pink bar of soap sitting in a soap holder, he focused on it so it was all he could think about. It completely distracted him and he got through showering without one breakdown.
Otabek was down stairs, making a light and healthy breakfast, so that the two boys had lots of energy for skating. Yurio got ready and headed down stairs for breakfast, before they knew it, they were walking down the street to the ice skating rink, holding hands with their fingers linked.
O- "the paparazzi will probably show up, so I called the place and got us a private rink"
Y- "oh okay, thanks, I was really nervous about it actually."
O- "you have nothing to worry about kitten, I'll protect you."
Yurio giggled and they continued walking until they arrived.
O- "lets go to the changing room and get ready."
Y- "okie dokie"
Once the two boys where ready they headed to the private rink and began practice trick that Otabek was googling before hand. They started doing twists and turns and Otabek was carrying Yurio around and spinning him. Once they thought they had a routine set in stone, they practiced the whole thing, start to finish.
The boys were leaping around and the finishing trick was coming up Yurio had to leap into Otabeks arms and finish with a kiss. Yurio wasn't sure if he could pull it off but then came the time for him to leap, he got a running start and BOOM He pulled it off flawlessly, Otabek kissed Yurio passionately and once he pulled away they both started giggling and panting But they're giggling was interrupted by distant clapping
Y- "MILA WHAT THE FRICK!?"
M- "that's the best and gayest thing I've ever seen!"
Mila continued clapping and laughing after Otabek interrupted
O- "Yurio? Is this a friend of yours?"
M- "well I don't know if Yurio considers me a friend but yes, I am Mila Babicheva. Me and Yurio used to hang out after competitions. Until Yurio stopped competing."
O- "oh well I'm Otabek, so did you like the routine?"
Yurio sat there blushing and embarrassed
M- "oh it was AMAZING SO GAY AND I LOVED IT..so are you two dating or what?"
Y- "I don't know really, we have a .thing."
M- "so basically you met one day and then hung out and hooked up?"
O- "HOW DID YOU KNOW?"
Yurio and Mila started giggling as Otabek stood there and blushed.
