Flashback
"Hurry up, Serena! You'll miss the view." Ryan laughed. He stood on the edge of a cliff looking down over the land.
"I'm coming! Just give me a minute!" I called as I finally reached the edge. "Woah!" I breathed as I saw the entire city from the cliff. Ryan watched my reaction before bursting out laughing. I started laughing with him until something weird happened.'Jump. Go on, do it! You know you want to, just jump!' I unconsciously felt myself walking towards the edge. "Serena!" Ryan yelled, grabbing my waist and pulling me back. "What the hell?! Do you want to die?!" I shook my head as the mysterious hold that the voice had, vanished.
"I-I don't understand." I stuttered when I finally realised what I was about to do.'No! You must jump. Haven't you ever wondered what it would be like? Now's your chance. Jump. Just jump. One little step and no more wondering. Just jump. It's only a jump. What harm could it do?' I felt myself again moving towards the edge. Ryan turned around, a tad late. I was already halfway off the edge. "SERENA!" I heard as I fell deeper and deeper into my life. My life which would soon be nonexistent. I felt a large jolt run through my body as my eyes fluttered closed, giving into the black abyss which took away my Ryan.
End of Flashback
"She was a terrific friend, sister and daughter. Serena Henderson will be missed." The minister said. "Now the Mr. And Mrs Henderson have asked for a few moments of silence to remember the short 15 years of Serena Henderson." Everyone, clad in black, dropped their heads and remembered the continuously smiling and laughing teenager they knew as Serena Henderson. It was silent aside from the occasional sob and the repetitively sobbing coming from her mother. Ryan stood next to Serena's brother, Austyn. The two stood closer together as they were both crushed at the realisation that they would never see their smiling Serena again.
