donghyuck had lead jisung to the ice cream shop. it was well known by anyone knowing him that he took every chances he had, to go there.

after ordering, they went to sit to the farthest table, in a corner. donghyuck had gotten used to sit at the isolated tables, because of renjun, but he had to admit that it was the best tables. it was quieter, and more peaceful, hence better to enjoy their moment.

they were eating, and donghyuck decided to explain the whole situation to jisung. he thought that since he now lived with them, he would witness some things happening with jaemin, jeno and all of them.

so he thought he might as well tell him everything. even if he probably wouldn't believe it now, he eventually would, after seeing something happening. and this way, he wouldn't be too confused, and would understand what was going on.

"so you're telling me that they are not humans ?" jisung frowned.

"yes. that's what i'm saying."

"uh... i- i don't- um... i don't wanna say that you're a liar, i swear, hyung ! but... it's just- i don't know, it's just kinda hard to believe."

donghyuck nodded. "i know. when renjun told me about jeno, i didn't believe it either. it's too unrealistic, so just wait and expect something."

"oh, uh, okay then." he smiled awkwardly.

donghyuck was about to smile back at him, when the door opened, revealing jaemin followed by renjun. he widened his eyes slightly.

renjun looked up, and his eyes met with his friend's. he widened his eyes as well, and froze.

jisung noticed how donghyuck was looking behind him, so he turned around as well. when he saw renjun, he smiled widely. he was about to wave at him, but donghyuck stopped him, by putting his hand on his other arm, that was on the table. jisung faced him back, tilting his head.

"let's go for now. don't let the other dude see you. i'll tell you everything outside, just come."

jisung slowly nodded, and got up, after his hyung. they walked fast, and it didn't go unnoticed by donghyuck, how jaemin grabbed renjun's hand, and how the latter let it happen. he raised a brow, but exited the shop quickly. hopefully, renjun would tell him later.

"was that this jaemin hyung dude, with renjun hyung ?" jisung asked, looking at donghyuck.

"yes, it's him."

"what are they doing here ? didn't you say they were only supposed to meet at that one place near the river ?"

"i did, and it's true." he was frowning. "i don't know what they're doing here, but we'll ask renjun later."

jisung didn't say anything for a while. 

"is it really true, that his eyes change color and that his friend stopped time ?" he finally asked, still in disbelief, and donghyuck couldn't blame him.

"it's- it really sounds fake, and unbelievable, but it's true."

"i mean, i wanna believe you, since i don't think you would make something like this up, but it's really hard to."

"i know." donghyuck gave him a small smile. "but like i told you, you just stay with us, and you'll see for yourself."

jisung was still skeptical, and found this story really, really weird, but nodded nonetheless.

"so, where are we gonna wait for renjun hyung, now ?"

"i don't know. let's just walk around —is that okay ?"
