i hear my phone ring from across the room , i wipe my tears and stand up , i pick up my cell phone from the floor from where i previously threw it i pick it up without looking at the contact.
"what?" i say with a sniffle
"listen i'm so so sorry-"
"i don't want to fucking hear it alejandro you embarrassed me during lunch all i do was ask you a simple question and you embarrass me in front of the whole fucking school"
"i didn't mean for it to come out that way i just wanted to say that i'm taken and i didn't mean to-"
"you didn't mean to what? lead me on , call me mamas , flirt with my on a daily basis? because in case you haven't noticed you do all those things and i didn't even know you had a girlfriend until she came to lunch yesterday , your an asshole for saying that i'm self centered when all i asked is why lead me on"

"something like that doesn't slip out unless you were thinking it , you know what. go to hell alejandro" i end the call and grab my car keys off my desk , i grab my airpods i put on my air force one's and run out of my house , i get into my car and drive out the driveway

i open my best friend's bedroom door , i walk to her bed and set down the bag of mcdonald's i brought for her and me , she turns around and looks at me , she looked sick , probably why's she didn't go to school today , before she can say something i break down into tears , she engulfs me in a hug and puts the mcdonald's bag on the nightstand next to her bed.
"what happened?" she ask clearly concerned
"you weren't here so i sat with the boys and vic at lunch , i asked ale why the he keeps calling me mamas while he has a girlfriend he said he was just being nice and that he had a quote unquote 'flirty personality' and i laughed he said that the question was kind of unnecessary and that i was self centered for asking that question while he had a girlfriend" abigail looks at me with wide eyes
"what the actual fuck , that's the dumbest shit i've ever heard" abby says while gaining an attitude , i grab the mcdonald's bag and open the box of twenty chicken nuggets and pouring the medium fries into the box close it and shake it. i grab a chicken nugget and dip it in sweet and sour sauce
"one day without going to school and this bullshit happens , i swear kylie jenner probably did a photo shoot in the gym" abby jokes , i laugh at her. i grab my phone and post on my finsta to rant my feelings
