i walk into my house and run up to my room. social bash was a fucking disaster cynthia's dumbass had to ruin everything. i take two deep breaths trying to calm myself down , i hear my phone ring with the facetime ringtone i pick it up and alejandro's face is on the other line.

"do you wanna talk about it?" he ask with a sympathetic look

"no it's fine i guess , but i just thought social bash was supposed to be fun and something drama-free you know? i was looking foward to the last night as a great time but that blonde headed bimbo bitch had to ruin my night" i say with a roll of eyes

"it's okay at least you had fun" alejandro says with a smile trying to cheer me up , i give him a small smile back

"you are very pretty did you know that?"

"you are very flirtatious did you know that?"

"yeah because flirting is a way of showing you like someone" alejandro says in an obvious tone , i chuckle and feel the heat rush to my cheeks

"do you really like me?"

"of course i do , literally my girlfriend of one year broke up with me so i can be with you , she supports us , that fans support us , the boys support us. i'm only waiting on you so we can make it official"

"i don't know ale , i think i need some time if that's okay with you"

"take all the time in the world princess , i'll be waiting"

i walk into the school's cafeteria ready for lunch because man was i starving and i see a new girl sitting at our table , i look at abby in confusion as i sit next to her

"oh hey rachel , this is vanessa she moved her from manhattan new york and it's her first day here , i met her in algebra" abby explains excitedly , i look at the girl sitting in the middle of mattia and kairi. i send her a smile she puts her hand out i shake it

"nice to meet you , im rachel. abby's best friend" i say in an overprotective tone

"and ale's girlfriend" mattia says with a stupid smirk

"we're not dating" i say throwing one of abby's grapes at him

"my grape" abby whines like a four year old

"relax i'll get you a new one" i say standing up

i go to the lunch line and get my tray with today's lunch which options consisted of pizza with garlic bread , salad , or cheese sticks and the obvious fruit. i grab the pizza because i want garlic bread and head back to the table i see alejandro has finally came to our table and i see him talking to vanessa , i shrug it off and sit next to abby and give her some of my grapes. i go on my phone and put on my airpods to avoid any conversations and to my surprise it worked. the whole lunch period everyone ignored me and was talking to vanessa. until it was time to go to class everyone was saying bye to vanessa as she walked to her next class , i finally turned off my phone and picked up my garbage from the table. i started eavesdrop on the boys convo before i left.

"yo vanessa lowkey fire" mattia says with his eyebrows raised

"she is hot not even gonna lie" kairi agrees while putting his hands up

"yeah she can get it any time" alejandro says with a chuckle

i've heard enough , i take off my airpods and grab my bag from the floor. i grab my tray and stand up i throw out my tray in the garbage bin and head outside to the hallway , i feel a grip on my wrist i turn around and i'm faced with alvaro , he looked worried

"are you okay rachel?" he ask sincerely

"yeah i'm fine"

"are you sure?"

"yeah alvaro there is no need to worry i promise you" i say with the fakest smile i can pull

i walk out into the parking lot going to find where i parked my car , i can never remember. on my way i see everyone chilling next to mattia's car. and when i say everyone i mean all my friends , abby , alvaro , mattia , roshuan , alejandro , vic , taylor , and even vanessa. there all laughing , they have ignored me all day. i walk past to see if they notice me. none of them did , i take one more look and see ale's arm wrapped around vanessa's shoulder.

i feel my heart drop to the floor , i thought he liked me. in twenty four hours ale goes from confessing his feelings toward me to ignoring me entirely and having his arms around another girl.

i go home and scroll through tiktok to get my mind off of anything that's going on in reality. i just wanna get lost in my for you page and come back when everything is normal again. no drama , no vanessa , no cynthia , no nothing. but i can't escape it. i go to my following page and it refreshes. a video of vanessa and alejandro pops up. they are dancing no idea by don toliver. they do the body roll movements and he looks at her up and down and bits his lips seductively. at the end he wraps his arms around her waist and smiles into the camera. i feel a hot tear stream down my cheek. i check the comments even though i know they will make me feel worse

i shut of my phone and exhale slowly trying not to break down. my heart can't take anymore hurt. i can't take it anymore. i lock my door and open the window i go to my closet and take out my secret stash i roll it up and sit by the window i inhale the intoxicated marijuana and hold it for a good amount of time before i exhale it. i take a sip of the tequila i poured into my cup and feel the back of my throat burn for a good five seconds before it's back to normal.

i just want it to take away all my pain.
