Taping days...
"Di ko alam, di ko tinago, promise!" Malakas na tili ni Rita, habang naghahabulan sila ni Ken. "Rita Daniela De Guzman Iriñgan, I swear kung di mo ibabalik sapatos ko, pagsisisihan mo talaga!" He 'threatened' her, but it was rather unconvincing, given that the glimmer in his eyes gave his own amusement away.
Just as Jowa and Grant, Rita and Ken had managed to strengthen the special bond na nabuo nila sa MST. Minsan nga daw ay nai-ilang na ang kanilang mga katrabaho. Pakiramdam kasi nila eh nanghihimasok sila kapag nagkakaroon na ng sariling mundo ang dalawa.
Even when sitting on opposite sides of a room, they would steal small glances at each other and sneak in knowing smiles. They have an undeniable connection that makes the others wonder what the real score between them really is.
"Dali na Ta, isa lang dala kong sapatos ngayon!" Ken was carrying the other half of the shoes as he continued following playful Rita around the set. "Ten minutes nalang start na daw! Uy!" Pagmamaka-awa nito. "Wala nga kasi sa akin! Kulit mo!" Malambing na sagot ng isa.
"Guys, tulungan niyo naman ako?" Baling ni Ken sa mga kasama nila na nagbabasa ng script at nagpapa-retouch ng make-up. "Gumaganti lang yan, diba tinago mo earrings niya last week." Kumento ng isa.
"Eh iba naman yun, accessories lang. Yung sapatos, kailangan yun!" Depensa ni Ken.
"Oh, teka ayaw namin madamay sa away ng mag-syota ah. Ay sorry, mag-bestfriend pala." Pang-aasar ng isa. "Oh nag-momoment yung dalawa, mamaya niyan wresting na yan."
"Ayaw mo talaga pa-awat, ha? I'm afraid you asked for it, Ta." Ken ran towards Rita and when he got hold of her, he tickled her on her weakest spots. She responded back with muffled giggles and light pinches on his cheeks. "Ken, stop! Tama na!" She said in between laughs.
"Hindi ako titigil hangga't di mo binabalik sapatos ko." He smirked. "O-kayyy. you win...Nasa ilalim ng kama ko..." Pag-amin ni Rita. Tumigil na si Ken at tinulungan ang kaibigan "Sa kama mo?" Nagtatakang tanong nito. "I mean, sa kama ni Jowa!"
"Uh - okay."
"Wow, ang layo naman, sa kasulok-sulukan mo nilagay." He said as he checked under the bed. "That's the challenge." She said while sticking her tongue out.
Pagkatapos ng taping, nagpa-boodle fight ang production team sa isang restaurant. They had a great evening, each one telling stories about their own families and some of their other experiences in their previous works. After dinner, they shared a few glasses of wine at mas personal na nga ang mga naging usapan, na umabot pa sa mga lovelife nila.
"Nakipag-date na ba kayo sa co-star niyo?" Someone asked casually, while looking around and noticing that the others were contemplating if they're going to answer or not. "Yeah, meron akong naging boyfriend dati. Di ko lang sasabihin kung sino. We dated for quite a while and it did not end well. Nagkatabi pa kami sa premiere night, eh hiwalay na kami nun, ang hirap mag-pilit ng ngiti." Sagot nung isa.
Sunod-sunod naman nag-share ang iba nilang kasamahan. "It was hard seeing each other everyday and remembering the fallout. It was an uncomfortable time. Pero maliit din kasi mundo ng showbiz, hindi maiiwasan minsan, talagang magkikita talaga kayo ng ex mo." Kwento ng isa. "Mahirap talaga, lalo na kung kayo pa yung loveteam, ayyy. " Sabi nung isa, na napatingin kila Rita at Ken. "Yeah, for sure. Totoo yan." The others agreed; well except for two.
Ken and Rita were noticeably silent amidst the active discussion. They were staring at each other the whole time. It seemed like they were in their own little world again. "Guys, agree kayo diba?" They were snapped off their trance. "Oh." Response ni Ken. "What?" Sabi ni Rita. "Pinag-uusapan namin na delikado makipag-relasyon sa katrabaho - agree?" They were asked.
