The school bell rang loudly for lunch, and students throughout the building poured out of classes, eager to converse with their friends. Lora took her time to pack up her items before finally walking out with a sigh of relief.
As she stuffed her books in her locker, Lora suddenly felt a pair of strong arms wrap around her in a hug from behind. Leaning into the embrace, she could tell at once it was Alejandro and she inhaled his familiar scent. "Hi, angel. How was your day?" His husky voice drifted into her ears and she replied happily "Better now that you're here."
In one quick movement, Alejandro spun her around to face him and kissed her lovingly "Don't say stuff like that or I'll have to wife you up." "Who said I wouldn't want you to?" Lora giggled. Realising their conversation was attracting multiple unwanted stares and eavesdroppers, she whispered "Let's go somewhere more private." Her boyfriend nodded in agreement "I know a place."

"This is your idea of a secret place?"
"Yup, nobody is going to find us here."
Lora looked around at the small janitor's cabinet with doubt lacing her tone, "Whatever you say, Ale." He hummed in reply and continued "Yeah, so anyway, the reason I want to talk to you is 'cause I wanna take you out." Lora pretended to throw a roll of tissue at him, causing him to flinch nervously as she asked "Like with a gun?"
A split second later, Alejandro had pinned Lora against the shelf, their faces inches apart. "I find your sass so unbelievably hot," Alejandro murmured as he peppered a row of butterfly kisses along her collarbone up her neck. Lora arched her back slightly and stared into Alejandro's honey brown eyes before nuzzling his neck gently "Didn't you have something to tell me?"
He pulled away reluctantly, but not before kissing her again "Yeah... I want to go on a date. With you." "I mean I hope it would be with me considering I'm your girlfriend." Ale glared at her until she burst into laughter "I'm sorry baby, go on."
"So there's this huge fair thing on the edge of the city, it's the best thing ever, and they only come for about 3 nights a year. Pretty much nobody here knows about it, except for the boys and I. It's actually been a kind of tradition for us to visit it together," Alejandro rambled while shooting glances at Lora to gauge her reaction. Instantly, her eyes began to well up with tears causing Alejandro to freak out "I'm so sorry Lora! If you don't want to do it, it's totally fine! I don't want to pressure you or anything!"
