Listen to 'Too Good At Goodbyes' by Sam Smith.

"Ever has it that love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation." - Kahlil Gibran.

I was in the middle of packing, destination England to go join my husband and finally settle things up. We had finally talked last night and I had promised I would join him today wherever he was. Love was a powerful motivation.

That and the child currently residing in me which I still hadn't told anyone about.

I zipped up the hefty travelling bag, my eyes scanning the room for anything I might have forgotten during my haste to put together luggage. My overflowing laundry caught my eyes and I pondered for the umpteenth time about the strange disappearance of our housekeeper, Hilda. She should have at least called to let us know she wasn't going to be available for some time.

Unreliable people everywhere.

I hissed, pulling a black tank top over my bra top and standing to admire my toned legs in the denim shorts, I pulled on a black, baseball cap and picked up my TV remote, intending to switch it off when a headline caught my eye and I dropped onto the green, leather armchair in the room in weary shock.

Wife of multibillionaire heir and popular artist, Gerard White rumoured to have been involved in child molestation scandal?

With shaky hands, I turned up the volume to hear the blonde news lady's bubbly voice. She had wrinkles which weren't very masked with the makeup and she flipped her hair over her shoulder before launching into a full discussion about it.

"What started out last night as a nasty internet rumour when some seemingly edited questionable pictures of Karina White was dropped online a few hours ago, has blown fully out of proportion as one of the men in Mrs White's leaked pictures has been identified as Yakubu Mane, a well-known child molester serving time at Pennsylvania General. The identification leads to a more in-depth search of the men and we have proof at this point to believe maybe those pictures weren't at all edited and may be true."

Jesus.

She paused to catch a breath while I felt myself slowly losing mine.

"Further investigations of the pictures led us to believe it was in fact released by supermodel and Dior model, Rita Kowalski who claimed to have gotten them from a housekeeper at the White residence. Her reasons for the release are unclear and so far no word has been heard from the Whites refuting or confirming the validity of the photographs. All we can say is that there is something certainly going on that they're not saying."

I couldn't believe what I was seeing at all, Rita and my housekeeper had all been on this together, she had probably planted Hilda here. I gasped, trembling. I left those pictures with Gerard, he was the one that kept them. How could he let anyone find them?
