I hope you find me ~ unknown

He just stood there. Dumbstruck. He seemed to have an internal debate on whether he should or shouldn’t get on. I pretended to be occupied on my phone and waited for him to get on. The lady voice on the lift came on announcing the closing of the doors.

“Are you getting on?” I asked him not looking away from my phone. I tried my level best to keep the amusement out of my voice.

“Y-yes! Sure,” he stuttered as he stumbled on and adjusted the straps of his backpack.

I like to think myself subtle but him... oh boy... he wasn't subtle at all. From the moment he got on the lift, I could feel his gaze on me. His eyes following my every move and burning holes through me.

Something about him was familiar and I tried to search my brain wondering why he looked so familiar. I was sure that I had met him before because I am really good with faces. I got a little frustrated when it did not come to me soon enough why the face was so familiar. Then it hit me!

Oh my God! He was the photographer from the park!

What were the odds? What was even more surprising was the fact that he worked in the company as I noted from the badge. Am I that oblivious that I do not know people who work here? No way! One doesn’t miss a face like that. He must be a new hire. I remembered the IT Product Design Team had recently hired a new person to their team and if I was right, he was the one that was hired.

I schooled my features to mask to hide the grin that was threatening to break through.

Wow.

He was gorgeous!

What surprised me was the star struck look he had in his eyes. I mentally high fived myself knowing that the attraction was not one sided. I could see the drool – well imaginary drool but you get the point. I think he had to remind himself that he was staring because a couple of times he seemed to shake himself out of it by tilting his head to one side and then shaking it.

Thrilled wasn't going to cover the feeling I had inside.

This was going to be fun!

I took my baseball cap off and ran my hands through my hair.

I was meeting Yoongi and Hoseok for a night about town so I had carried a change of clothes for after work to avoid the hustle of having to go back and forth from my apartment. We would start with dinner and then go dancing later.

But, I digress.

My action was to allow me to have a view of this tall wine glass of a man ogling at me in the lift mirrors. He was absolutely dazzling.

Those had to be the most perfectly toned thighs underneath the faux leather pants he sported. He had what they call ‘legs for days’ – long, slender, masculine, sexy, perfectly toned – I could go on and on with the adjectives. The baggy black t-shirt tucked in at the front of his pants exposing his thin waist suited him well. It rested on his chest perfectly outlining the toned pec muscles underneath it and I had to resist the temptation of running my hands all rub them all over him.
