Hour Ten
I felt panic starting to rise up back in my system, just when I though I had ridden myself of it.
"Ba't na-flat? Pano tayo ngayon? Just.. kinakabahan na naman ako nito eh," I spoke in a tiny, quivering voice. The street we were on was poorly lit, and the directions on our phones said that no gasoline stations were near.
He took hold of my hand again, his thumb running up and down my palm... possibly in an attempt to calm me down.
"It's alright... Hindi naman kita pababayaan. Bukas pa'to mapapaayos.. But for now, let's find a place to stay in, okay ba?" He looked at me sympathetically, and I managed a nod.
We took out our important belongings, locked the car, and started walking to the most nearby inn GoogleMaps has led us to.
Which was 30 fucking minutes away by foot, by the way.
