Knowing You

"Ugh." I said as I rolled over on my bed.

I got up and had a 10 minute shower. I straitened my hair and put on a crop top that said " EA$Y" and a pair of dark washed skinny jeans.

I pulled out my black vans out of my closet and slipped them on.

I did my makeup and grabbed a SnapBack from my wall.

I ran down the stairs wanting to sneak of and go skate boarding.

As soon as I tried to pass the kitchen, my mom caught me.

"Honey where are you going?" My mom asked.

"I'm just going skate boarding..." I sighed.

"Call Jc and invite him, I know he would love to do that." she smiles warmly while tossing me a phone.

I dial Jc number and he doesn't pick up.

"Leave a message.." my mom tries to whisper.

"Please leave you message after the beep." the phone tells me.

*beep*

I put on a fake smile and said, "Hey Jc it's Lira. I was just wondering if you would want to go skate boarding with me today. if you get this please meet me at the park on 25th street. bye."

I grabbed my pennyboard and skated towards the park.

Wow. I felt free on the board. Even thought I haven't done this since....... since Teo and I've been together......

I felt a few tears come down my face. I wiped them off and walked into the park.

"Hey lira." said a voice from behind me.

I turn and see Jc smiling at me.

"Heyy Jc." I said giving what I could muster of a smile.

He leaned in to give me a kiss. I did the same knowing I would make it weird if I didn't.

Just as our lips touched, I heard a very familiar voice.

"Lira...?" Said the voice.

I tried to pull away but Jc was intent on kissing me.

He finally pulled away after what seems like forever and smiled that smile I've kinda been liking.

"Lira." that person said again.

I turned and saw Teo with tears in his eyes.

"Lira, I- I thought."

"Teo...... did your parents tell you yet?" I asked feeling sad.

"Yes lira they told me how your parents didn't want us together."
He said continuing.

"They said you were to marry someone else. And now I know who. Lira, even though us together can't be accepted by our parents, I will always love you." he said finishing while glaring at Jc.

Teo tries to grab my arm and pull me with him, but Jc pulls me away from him towards the skate park.

"LIRA YOU WILL BE MINE AGAIN. MARK MY WORDS." he said saddened.

Though out the course of the day I've really gotten to know Jc. We seem to have loads in common.

We both say our goodbyes with one last kiss.

I head back to my house.

I was about to turn when someone pulled me into a dark alley.
