Changes

I turned to Carter.

"What changes?" I asked.

"Look Teo is putting the wedding off because of a movie he is doing in Ireland. So he asked me to take care of you." he said sincerely.

"But taking care of me doesn't mean kissing me." I said.

"Well you'll thank me after I tell you that Teo is going with Trika for this movie. she got a leading roll." he said.

I suddenly felt weak. like Teo would leave me again or something. I knew that I would be thankful for Carter staying with me for that half month.

I just hugged Carter with out saying a word.

It was dark in the kitchen. Teo flicked on the lights and ran up to his room. He quickly came down with a huge suit case and set it next to him.

"Honey, I have to leave for a movie set. It will only take 3-4 weeks. I will have Carter stay with you." he said pulling me close to him.

"I know I can trust you with Carter and that you won't do anything bad." he said.

"But I can't trust you with Trika." I said under my breath.

"Okay bye babe." he said kissing me softly.

"Bye...." I said as the door closed.

I turned to Carter and looked him in the eyes.

"Let's go out." I said feeling the craziness in my words.
