Aléjhandra And Alessandro (In Santiago's P.O.V)

I felt myself jolt awake when I heard a crash and two voices in sync cursing.

"Crap." The twins mumbled from behind me. Once again I had fallen asleep on the couch because of work. I stood and turned to see my kids frozen like deers in headlights arms full of junk food.

I raised an eyebrow and the seemed to remember their wits.

"It was Alé's idea." Alessandro immediately blamed, but I one hundred percent believed that it was. She was Illianna incarnate.

"I don't doubt that it wasn't. What are you two doing up?"

Aléjhandra and Alessandro shared a look before Aléjhandra spook, fixing the bags of chips in her arms. "Well, you see I was feeling peckish and you know me, your adorable daughter can't go to bed on an empty stomach."

I saw the way Alessandro shifted from one foot to the other, he was restless. Obviously because he knew his sister was better at lying than he was so he let her speak. But if I wanted the truth, I knew better than to listen to her.

I gave Alessandro a look and his eyes widened. "Papa don't do that, you know I'll tell you anything." He complained.

"That's exactly why I'm looking at you." I came around the couch and leaned against the back of it, crossing my arms.

"Stay strong Sandy." Aléjhandra said from beside him. I shrugged.

"If you guys rather deal with your mom, be my guest." The fear that came into their eyes was comical.

They were scared of Illianna when she was tired, she had no mercy my wife. They glanced at each other again, having a mental conversation with each other before Alessandro sighed.

"We're having a movie night." Aléjhandra glared at her brother, "Traitor."

"At 3 in the morning?"

Alessandro opened his mouth to say something but Aléjhandra gave him a harsh look and that peaked my interest.

"Sandro why are you guys up this late for a movie night?"

"Alessandro I swear to god if you tell him-"

"Alé met a guy that likes star wars so we're watching the entire series so she can impress him." He rushed out.

It took me a minute to process what I had just heard. A boy? Aléjhandra doesn't even leave the estate how could she possibly meet a boy.

I guess I had a look on my face because Aléjhandra dropped her snacks on the kitchen counter and came to stand in front of me.

"Don't get mad, and please don't kill him."

"Alé where in the hell did you meet a boy?" Her cheeks were tinted a rosy colour, making me increasingly worried, she liked him.

"If I tell you promise me that you won't do anything to him." I scoffed.

"Yeah right, I'm the father here Alé, you can't negotiate your way out of this." She pouted and gave me puppy dog eyes.

"Not even for your favourite daughter?"

"You're my only daughter."

"Exactly, favourite. Good talk papa, see you in the morning."

She attempted to turn but my voice stopped her. "Alé you have six seconds."

"Why is it always six? I need at least-" her words halted when she saw the expression on my face.

"Okay so we met on the beach when we went to Barcelona a week ago, and I may have been texting him since then."

I pursed my lips and hummed. "He's kind of a loser in my opinion." Alessandro said. Dropping his own snacks and coming to stand with us. She shoved her brothers arm.

"You think he's a loser because he's a boy that isn't you or papa."

"I agree with his opinion." I commented.

"Yeah well mama already approved." She said smugly. I stared at her perplexed.

"You mean this has been going on for a week and nobody told me about it?"

"You have the tendency to overreact."

"No I don't, what's his name?" I asked the question to Alessandro who was trying to avoid my eyes.

"Just tell him Sandy, it's not like you won't do it later." She sighed, going around to sit on the couch.

"Ryder."

"That name sounds like trouble. Also doesn't sound Spanish." A sense of dread fell over me, my princess had a crush on a tourist great.

"He is Spanish, he said that he's adopted." I laughed incredulously and looked at Alessandro who shrugged. We both sat on either side of her.

"You don't actually believe that, right Alé? I raised you to be smarter than that." At least I really hoped I did.

"I mean it makes sense, and when Alessandro tells you his stupid theory you're going to get angry." That seemed to get Alessandro's attention because jumped at the chance to tell me.

"It's not stupid Alé, you just like him too much to see it." He looked at me and put his arm on my shoulder. "So I think he's apart of a mafia too."

"Why would you say that?" I asked.

"Well for one when Alé went to say hi he threw her over his shoulder."

"He what?" If it wasn't for Alessandro's arm on my shoulder I would've stood up and found the kid and tore his throat out.

"Papa just listen, besides I returned the favour." She smiles at me proudly. I ruffled her hair.

"That's my girl."
