Chapter Seven: Home Sweet Home

I wearily opened my eyes. The light from my bedroom flooded into my eyes. I squint a bit before my eyes focus. I slowly drag myself out of bed. It was morning in Krewtown.

But today it was no ordinary day.

Today, we have guests.

I change out of my pink onesie and into my adventure clothes. My blue shoulder less dress hangs in my closet until I grab it and change. I wear my usual shoes and grab my Krew necklace. I look at myself in the mirror. I smile, practicing it. Today, I was my usual self. Thankfully.

I hurry down the stairs, my boots thump against the birch wood stairs as I make my way down. I grab a quick breakfast and head on out.

It was well before 5:00. The sun was just starting to come up. I hurry over to the apartment building where the rest of the Krew and the Gang were waiting.

Across the field, I see several figures around the entrance of the building. I skip along the damp grass, humming to myself.

"Morning!" I greeted politely to the Gang, then I hug Funneh and Gold, "Its been so long since you guys were here!"

Funneh chuckles, "Well that kinda true. I'll have to get used to wearing these again."

Evelyn examined the outfit carefully, "These are pretty and all, but if I were going on a high stakes adventure, I'd wear something more.... formidable."

"Yeah, she's got a point," Aly agreed, "Aren't you guys afraid of getting hurt or almost dying?"

Lunar rolled her eyes, "If I were you, I'd NOT want to wear something big and clumsy," she said to Evelyn, "We need speed and agility when it comes to combat."

Evelyn noted this, "Ok."

Kyran looked at his own clothing, "I'm guessing ours aren't suited for adventure, huh?"

Gold thought of this, "No, Lunar, let's go make some more... suitable clothes for them."

"What about our adventure??" Draco said.

"We can do it, AFTER they get proper equipment!" Gold called, Lunar followed her.

"Let's just give them a tour first," I suggested, "You know, like what we're supposed to do first anyways."

Funneh heaved a sigh, "Fiiiiine, cmon, lets go!"

We followed Funneh as she stopped near the houses. She pointed out each one.

"The pink one is Rainbow's House, the yellow one is Gold's, Green is Draco's, purple goes to Lunar, and blue is for me," Funneh wandered on to the gazebo.

A purple aura flowed around the way shrine. It's white words were engraved onto it intricately. Several villagers chatted around it. Most were eyeing the Gang, talking about their clothes and how different they are. I winced a little, the muttering reminded me of how different the Krew were to the Gang. We weren't really considered humans I guess. We were just born different.

"This is the way shrine," Funneh said, "This is a teleportation tool that helps us go through realms. Though, we are now more experienced to do that ourselves."

"This is also how we found KrewCraft in the first place," Draco added.

"KrewCraft?" Evan asked.

"KrewCraft is just what we named this alternate world," I explained, "We don't really know the name of this magnificent place."

"So, you guys just live here? With the villagers?" Alec inquired, "So there are no robbers, transportation, all that stuff?"

"Oh, we still have raiders," Draco said, "And well, there's something else we should tell you."
