"Arminda~what'cha doin'?"
She looked up, wearing her usual villager outfit and blushed, "Dominga! Don't scare me with that tone of yours!" she whined. I giggle before sitting on the grass, legs crossed, "But seriously, what are you doing?"
Arminda laughed softly, "I'm just taking care of the crops, since Rainbow isn't here to do it..."
Dominga sighed, twirling a strand of her hair, "Arminda, you just have to accept that our parents won't come back. Like our, biological ones..." the brown haired gulped.
(I can't remember if Arminda was a red head with blue eyes so I'm just gonna go with it-)
"Is this why Percy left? Because he knew something was up with them?" Arminda inquires, taking a seat next to Dominga, who shrugged helplessly. She knew her best friend was sensitive on the topic of her missing husband, they had actually gotten married weeks ago before Gold found out...but they wanted it to be a secret, Dominga never understood why, "I don't know...I mean, Aunt Rainbow and Lunar lost their children too..."
"We're the only ones left with our adopted siblings.." Arminda whimpered, blinking back tears.
Dominga stared into the empty space. She resented the Krew, adopting child by child just to lose them. Then they'd shrug it off and get more! This enraged Dominga, seriously, how messed up is that!? They treated them like they weren't real!
Except Dominga.
Of all of them, Funneh always tried to shower Dominga with gifts the most, make her a mansion, pamper her, but it wasn't enough. It honestly annoyed Dominga, but made her happy on the inside, but why?
Even now, Dominga herself was married. She was happy, sure! But, her life lacked something. There was always something.
Adventure, that's what. Sure, she almost died once in the Twilight void, but something - or someone brought her back. She tried to tell her Mom, but she brushed it off like it was no big deal. More the reason for Dominga to hate her.
"Well....who'll take care of Krewtown now?" Arminda asks halfheartedly, eager to change the heavy subject.
Dominga gulped, "I hope they don't expect us to do it...why don't we just go run away to a different village? I'm sick of the Villagers looking at us like we're the cause of their problems..."
Arminda nodded, "I wouldn't mind either. But say, what about those YHS kids?" she points, "One of them seem to be coming over right now."
Dominga clenched her teeth. More people she despised, the reason why her mother was off prancing around with 'normal' people - as she called it. Falling in love with that emo red head, who was the opposite of friendly to her.
And would you look at that? Alec was wandering near the hotel, probably miserable Funneh was gone, boo hoo.
"Hey! Dominga! Arminda!" Evan waved, running over to them with Kyran tagging along behind - who was breathing heavily for running such a short distance.
"What do you want?" Dominga spat, standing up. She was somewhere around Evan's height, just several inches shorter. Arminda stayed seated, looking quite nervous.
"We...want..to!-" Kyran panted, "To know about this, this uhm..."
"Twilight Forest!" Evan finished, eyes sparkling with anticipation.
Arminda gasped, standing up next to Dominga, who was speechless. Twilight Forest, of course! The one place she was forbidden to go to. She cursed under her breath.
"Listen, I might not seem to be the nicest person around here - but take my advice: Don't. Set. A. Foot. In. Twilight. Forest," she ordered, making the two boys look at each other in surprise.
