Rainbow fell to a slower pace, dropping to the back with Gold, a worried glint in her eye, "You okay?"

The brown haired girl bit her tongue. She knew they shouldn't be talking like this, that they shouldn't be exchanging like this. She peered over to the other three, where Draco, Funneh and Lunar were ahead by at least a good distance away - of course Lunar was trailing behind the other two. Gold made a small smile form of on the edges of her lips, "I'm fine," she spoke hoarsely, "It's just gonna take a bit longer to convince those three."

Rainbow nodded, "Maybe just two. We could always break through Lunar?" the pink haired offered hopefully. Gold considered this, but shook her head in aspersion.

"Do you really think we can trust her?" Gold whispered, "She might, I dunno, throw us under the bus!"

"What're you talking about?" Rainbow protested quietly, "Lunar's in a situation just as bad as the both of us," Rainbow glanced up ahead, setting her sights on the lonely teal haired, quiet and secluded to herself.

"Get her to talk with us," Rainbow suggested, "I'm sure she'll open up."

Gold grimaced, "I don't think we should just wave and shout, 'Hey Lunar! Mind chatting with us a bit?' Those other two are obviously gonna think something's up." she pointed at Funneh and Draco.

In turn, Rainbow sighed, "Guess you have a point. Maybe later, back at camp?"

Gold agreed quietly, and the two made space between them. During this, Gold considered the odds of letting in Lunar on what's happening.

"..throw us under the bus!"

"What're you talking about? Lunar's in a situation just as bad as the both of us.."

Gold pondered, Couldn't be a bad idea. If Rainbow's hunch is right, and she DOESN'T betray us, it's an easy three to two. Right...?

But something inside her hesitated. She analyzed the idea over and over, thinking of all the possible outcomes of this. What if there was a way to possibly, trick Lunar? Get her on their side but keep her in the shadows? Gold felt guilty about this idea, excluding her own sister. But until she made her allegiance with them, it would have to make do.

She heard a shout from up ahead, it belonged to Funneh's.

"We're here!" she announced, a grim face set in stone, "You all know the drill," she shot a glare at the four and marched forward to break into the castle walls.

The tall castle was one of four, where they had previously gone to the first one, annihilating the poisonous rain of the forest free. The stone brick walls were mossy in several places, and with light yellow roofs with a pointy top covered their tops. There was a segment of several rooms bundled together, where the rest was a huge main tower and several smaller ones sticking out. There were white stained windows with small cracks looking out into the vast forest beyond, and there was a massive balcony at the top, with an open door leading straight to the top of the castle - where the Lich king would be awaiting them.

Gold felt a gulp form in her throat. Sure, she beat it last time, but their resources were immensely drained the first time and they suffered major injuries. Now the stakes were significantly higher, since half of the Krew seemed to have no intention in helping the other, in it for the win.

But is the 'win' worth it?

"Evelyn..."

"Wake up,your the only one left."

"It was a dream...you are safe now, Evelyn."

"Who..are....you..?"

"The truth is hidden under the seam of code."

"Where the life we live is all but prone..."

"What are you talking about..?! Who ARE you??!"

"...to never be resolved."

Evelyn leaned against the door. Kai stood behind her, arms crossed with a firm frown crossing his face.

"Well? Are you gonna tell me your reason now?" he shot at her. Evelyn calmed glanced at the fuming boy. She had a blank face, portraying no visible expression.

"We can't save them."

Kai made a disgruntled sound, "Have you ever heard of trying?"

"Trust me on this, Kai."

"I trust you, but not with this."

Evelyn sighed, "Don't trust me then. But do you trust her?"

"Who?"

"You know who I mean."

"Of course I do!" Kai snapped, realizing Evelyn's reference. He then sunk away, pain glistened in his eyes, "What are you getting at?"

"Trust her."
