I wake up to my phone aggressively ringing next to me. I pick it up and it's a cop.
"Hello is Gem" A deep voice says
"Yeah this is she" I croak
"We found your cameras SD card at the scene where you was kidnapped would you like to collect it from the station today"
"I'll get my boyfriend to collect it"
We carried on the conversation then I hung up. Colby was awake and listened to the entire conversation. I sit up in bed and rub my eyes
"Ohhh god I'm gonna have to witness my own kidnapping" I say terrified
Colby agrees and gets dressed to go pick it up he gives me a kiss before leaving my apartment. I clean up and blast music while waiting for Colby's return. An hour passes before Colby returns.
"I brought you chocolate and snacks and just incase you have a panic attack I have unlimited cuddles and kisses" He says handing me the bag that contained the SD card footage of my kidnapping from Abigail's camera she dropped. I grabbed my laptop and put the card in I opened the file that was there. I watched myself get hit and tortured but then I watched myself fall into Colby's arms when he rescued me.
"That's where our love began" Colby says holding my quivering body like in the video
"I will forever be thankful for you. I would have been dead if you hadn't have saved me" I hug him back tightly
We sat and finished the video and by the time it was finished my mascara was all the way down my face because it brought back the trauma I went through.
"It's over what do you want to do with the SD card" Colby asks taking it from my laptop
"I wanna keep it" I say putting it in a box with all my SD cards
"Why" He questions
"It's a reminder that I survived after being close to death" I say sitting back at the counter
"And a reminder that people you didn't even know looked after you better than people you've known for years" Colby adds
"Very true. Colby I love you and Sam very much for the shit you guys do for me"
"We love you too" Just as Colby says that Sam bursts in
"Hey I heard someone loves me" Sam says hugging me
"How long was you listening? " I ask
"Long enough sis" Sam answers
"Sis? "
"Yes Gem you're my fucking sister" San hugs me again and Colby joins
"You're both my absolute favorite people on earth" I mumble into the hug
We hugged for what felt like forever and when we pulled away we noticed Jake, Tara and Katrina had joined the group hug.
"We love you too" Jake says hugging me again
"You joined our group in the trap house era which was a messy time" Kat starts
"Rip trap house" Jake interrupts
"You make us laugh until we can't laugh no more you make Colby happy. You help us with our problems and we are forever thankful" Kat finished
I'm kinda glad I was kidnapped and tortured :D
