I hear my apartment door open and I hear Sam call out
"Guys!! What's with the broken plate" Sam shouts from inside
I walk in to join Sam and he looks at me to see fear and sadness in my eyes.
"What happened?" Sam grabs my arms
"Colby got angry. Sam I'm scared that one day he will get angry and hurt me" I start crying
"go calm down in the bathroom with Kat I will go talk to him" Sam hugs me then sends me on my way with Katrina
*Sam's Pov*
"Sup dude" I call to Colby
"What's uppp dude!" He replies
"I need to talk to you about what happened" I say trying not to get him mad again
"Go on" He mumbles
"When you smashed that plate you really scared Gem"
"what" he looks up at me
"yeah she started crying when she told me about you breaking the plate"
"My intention wasn't to scare her I was just angry" Colby stands up
He walks inside to find Gem and Katrina cleaning the broken plate off the floor. Gem stands up and fake smiles I see the fear behind her eyes. She takes a step back as Colby approaches her.
"baby please don't be scared of me I didn't mean to frighten you I was jut angry but not at you"Colby says to her and she drops her head
"I know i'm just still a bit shaky after what happened with Mike" gem says quietly
She hasn't been the same after mike tried to kill her with a glass bottle. She wont go near him on her own or when he is drunk because she don't want him to hurt her. He tried to apologise but she runs away or goes into a panic attack. If no one else protects her from mike I'm the one to do it. She's like my sister we do everything together and i'd hate to lose that bond with her. Gem's been there for me on my darkest days to comfort me and make sure everything is
"Samuellllllll" Colby waves his hand in front of my face to bring me out of my thoughts
"W....what" I slur
"You left earth for a minute there buddy" Gem laughs
"Ha um sorry about that" I fake laugh
if i wasn't with Kat i would of had Gem the moment i met her but she's one of my best friend's and that's even better 💜
