The Bad Boys Wolf

Chapter 13

Karah and I were cooking inside the kitchen always the Luna and the elder Luna cook dinner together so here I was with Carter's mom cooking chicken and potatoes.

Since only half the pack lives in this house and then the other half of the pack lives in another house 2 blocks away we only have to cook so much.

"You are such an amazing Luna for the pack, Summer." Karah says.

"Thank you." I reply to her throwing the potatoes in the pot. She looked at me with her dull blue eyes that told a story but I couldn't tell what that story was.

"What do you feel inside when your with Carter?" She asks boldly but not so much to where her statement around out.

"I feel love." Melody says in my mind. (A/N~ I haven't put in much of Melody (Summers wolf) but be expecting more if her wittiness and love able statements and actions.(;)

"When I'm around your son I feel like me and him could take on the world alone together. Like nothing else in the universe matters expect for that moment that we are in." I say with full emotion from my heart, well the part of my heart for Carter. Which I have never actually admitted because I have hid my emotions for so long it feels amazing to express a few.

"That's how I felt with his father." She replies to me looking down at the plate shes washing with a small and sad smile upon her face.

"I have never heard about.. His dad." I say sort of awkwardly. She keeps looking down and a tear escapes her eye.

"You do know why Carter wants to kill every rouge he sees.. Right?" My mouth forms an 'o' shape.

"Rouge attack." I say rather quickly. Karah nods.

"It was a huge damn pack and they were trying to over throw the alpha at the time which was-" Karah got cut off when she began to cry. I have never seen her like this and my first instinct was to drop everything and embrace her into a hug. She hugs me back.

I could never imagine losing my mate, mates mean the world to you and they are the love of your life. If you lose them it's like doing yourself in a way.

"Karah, you are an amazing woman and I am so lucky to call you my mother in a way. Always remember that." I say into her hair. She pulls away with another small smile.

"Thank you for being here Summer I would have just bottled up my emotions. You have no idea how great of Luna you already are." Karah says hugging me again and then we finish up dinner.

After eating dinner Carter and I went to hang out in the living room since every one else in the pack house went on a little get away or something for the weekend.

"Lets watch some Netflix." Carter says and I smile.

"Sounds awesome." I reply taking a seat on the couch next to him. He has a blanket and raps us up into it as I sit and snuggle next to him.

"What do you want to watch?" I was about to say something when I realized something else.

"Why does it feel colder in here than usual?" I ask looking up at him with my eyebrows raised. He smirks.

"Oh no reason just- here get closer to me." Carter says pulling me in closer.

"Are kidding me? You are sabotaging the thermostat so it's colder in here just so I would get a lot closer for body heat. Not bad though, I would have done the same thing." I retort sort of.

"I like this idea." Melody says purring. I cut off our connection.

"Yes, Aurora. I did. Now that I admitted it.." He says pausing getting closer to my face. When he gets an inch away he pulls me on his lap so I'm straddling him. His amazing breath fanning on me. "Let me know." He says. I get confused and pull away a little.

"What do you mean?" Carter chuckles.

"When you want that kiss." And with that he winks at me and starts to gently kiss my cheek and collarbone.

"Give me about 5 days." Carter wiggles his eyebrows.

"That's this Friday." I raise my eyebrows now.

"And what is this Friday?" Carter smiles.

"A party. Of course I'm hosting it so I barely have to be there. In fact.. We.." Carter pauses. "Can be right up stairs, and no one has to know." I shake my head smiling and slap his arm getting off his lap so I can lay next to him.
